Born January 17, 1820 in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom, Anne Bronte came from a Literary family.  Her works were published under the masculine pen name Acton Bell.  This talented youngest daughter of the literary Bronte family died at the age of 29 from pulmonary tuberculosis.
