"There is no failure except in no longer trying."
~Elbert Hubbard
Elbert Hubbard was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher from Illinois. An ambitious young man, he became a marketing genius and after penning three novels, he founded the Roycroft Press. He died tragically with his wife Alice in 1915, when the British ocean liner, Lusitana, that they were aboard was hit by a German torpedo. The couple refused to be separated when the other passengers were boarding life boats and ended up on the sinking part of the ship.
