Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Other Creative Priorities – Now in inMotion ignite

“How do I make sure that my team is focused on doing the most important work first?”

Answering this question is critical for busy Creative teams to maintain their strategic focus. In the 2021 Creative Management Report creatives listed speed at which they are expected to work (73%), having enough creative resources (61%), and volume of demand for creative content (59%) as their top challenges. One important strategy to addressing an intense workload is to understand the relative creative priority of each work item.

This is why we have released the Priorities feature for Inmotion Ignite. This feature will help creative teams easily assign and clearly see the priority of all the projects, tasks, and proofs they are working on.

Priorities in inMotion Ignite is a flexible, customizable feature that allows teams to go beyond a basic “low, medium, high” structure to create as many custom, color-coded priorities as they need. One use case we’ve heard is a customer that has a creative priority status called “Flaming Hot Cheetos” to designate top-priority rush work! Like in this example, creatives can get more descriptive and develop priority statuses that capture nuance such as work that is important but not urgent.

Once the priority statuses are created in ignite, users can begin applying them to work. The color-coded priority badges will appear in work lists and custom views across ignite so that prioritized work is always visible.

As Josh Trauberman, Director of Product at inMotionNow explained in the Product keynote at inMomentum 2021, “It was important for us to make sure that the Priority badge was everywhere in the product so that teams can always have instant access to the priority of everything they are working on. It was also critical for us to make sure things were in the right order, that you saw the most important thing first.”
