Ignite Your Creativity for the 4th of July!

For many of us, July 4th will be a little different this year. Even if we’re staying safe with social distancing, we still have the opportunity to spark our Creativity this summer. Even if you’re not celebrating this US holiday, these ideas are still sure to spark up some summer fun! Get your sparklers ready and spark your creativity with some of the fun summertime ideas below.

Bring out  your inner Michelangelo with some creative watermelon carving. The hardest part of this activity will be trying to not eat the watermelon before you’re done carving!

Add some color to your holiday weekend with good old-fashioned sidewalk chalk. The best part is  you get a brand new blank canvas after every summer storm.

Holiday weekends are also a great time to learn new skills to help you bring your creative ideas to life. Adobe has been busy releasing many new tools and features to support the “creative renaissance” recent world events has sparked.

Creativity is having a renaissance because it helps us connect with each other, even when we’re remote. It helps calm the stress of this turbulent time. And creativity is powerful.

Some of the new tools and features available in Adobe Creative Cloud are:

  • Peer learning with live streaming
  • New search tools on Behance
  • CC Libraries in Spark
  • Auto Reframe in Premiere Rush
  • Select Subject Portrait in Photoshop

One thing that won’t be different this July 4th is the weather – we can still count on a hot holiday, so whip up some festive drinks to keep everyone cool. You can also declare your independence with non-alcoholic beverages too!

Many cities are cancelling their fireworks displays this year, but you can still light up your evening and have some social distancing fun with an outdoor fire pit! There is a creative fire pit idea for just about any budget, level of construction skill, or space. Remember to practice fire safety as you roast s’mores this weekend!
