Invoking the Sketcher Task Environment
• Therefore, to create the base feature in most designs, you first need to invoke the Sketcher Task environment.
• In NX, the Sketcher Task environment can be invoked using an existing datum plane or by selecting a planar face of an existing feature.
• To start the Sketcher Task environment, choose the Sketch button from the
Form Feature toolbar on the left of the drawing window.
• Figure on the next slide shows the default screen display in the Sketcher
Task environment of NX.
