Going from 1st to 2nd gear on my bike wasn’t happening although I could go from 3rd to 2nd ok, to get in a nice steady cruising gear I had to pedal like crazy to getting 3rd and then drop down, this is a common problem with modern bikes to do with “Indexing” gears, for someone who grew up on bikes without gears this all got very confusing. But, there’s a drop in bike repair and advise workshop at the back of Yardley Wood Church on Sunday lunchtime, so Luke fixed the gears but because the project is funded he wouldn’t accept any payment so I have paid him for his services as a model for my photo of the day.
