You know you are doing something right, when your teacher mistakes your acrylic Painting for oils! It feels so good to be complimented.

I believe I have developed a certain style. I apply paint in a different way. But that is not as important as the things I've learned this time around:
When preparing your canvas, think about your background. If it is going to be a dark and rich colour, prime your canvas with a relatively saturated and even coat, otherwise your figures will look like cut outs.

I'll rework the painting as my background is so dark it sucks the life out of everything, and I might photograph it. I should for portfolio reasons.
