How deeply troubling it is to this blogger that there are multitudes of contemporary people who know nothing about or have been incorrectly informed about cases of authentic 'channeling' / 'trance mediumship' and therefore don't seem interested in this subject of such blatant significance to comprehending profound aspects of the nature of life.  Perhaps the unfamiliarity with this condition of mentality brings apprehension and therefore the Divine Dispensations articulated remain obscure to countless people.  Many fascinating case chronologies have been chronicled and profiled in numerous articles at this blog.  (channeling articles index)  This article focuses on channeled perspectives about wars and cataclysms on Earth, as does the preceding article about Maurice Barbanell/'Silver Birch.'
 
As mentioned in a case study article about Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), he became known as an American mystic and "psychic diagnostician" healer following hypnotic sessions where he would go into a trance and his body would be used as a channel.  The communicating Intelligence would speak in plurality, usually beginning a 'reading' with a statement such as "We have the body . . ." and finishing upon saying "We are through for the present."  Preceding articles about this case include "Channeled Perspectives of the Brain", "Explaining the 'Second Coming'" and "Esoteric Aspects of Edgar Cayce's Life".
 
A September 1966 Supplement to the Individual Reference File of transcripts documenting channeling sessions of Edgar Cayce—who became known as America's 'sleeping prophet'—was categorized as pertaining to WORLD AFFAIRS: PATRIOTISM 602-7.  The transcript is presented verbatim in the entirety hereafter.  There are a total of 14,306 extant Edgar Cayce channeled reading transcripts.

Remember, there has been given, "Fear rather him who may destroy body and soul than he who may destroy the body alone."

In an hour of trial, when there are influences abroad that would change or mar, or take away that freedom which is the gift of the Creative Forces to man; that man might by his own innate desire be at-one with God, the Father, as was manifested in Jesus, the Christ; there should be the willingness to pattern the life, the emergencies, the exigencies as may arise, much in the way and manner as the Master indicated to each and every soul.

According to the pattern of the life, as He gave, one should ever be able to give the evidence of the hope and faith that lies within the individual.

One should ever be able and willing even to lay down the life for the principles that may live as He indicated; that of freedom not only from the fear of servitude, not only from the dictates as to the manner in which love, sacrifice, obedience may be administered to the faith and hope that lies within him, but that the whole earth may indeed be a better place for an individual, for those that are to come to reside in.

To be sure, taken as a personal application, these become in a manner necessarily as of self.  But self, too, may needs be offered on the altar of sacrifice.

When He withheld not His own Son, how can ye ask Him to withhold thine?  If it needs be that necessary that the world may know that He, the Father, sent the Son into the earth?

Live in thine own life that which is worthy of acceptance, of that ye ask of the Father, and He will not withhold any good thing from thee.

Are thy principles, thy activities in keeping with His purposes?

This ye may ask day by day:

LORD, SHOW THOU ME THE WAY.  LET ME NOT IN MIND, IN PURPOSE, IN INTENT, DICTATE TO ANY: BUT THOU, O GOD, DIRECT THE WAYS, THE PURPOSES.

In that attitude ye may create about thy loved ones, thy friends, thy brethren, the sureness in Him that may bring about the NEEDS for that life, that experience of thy son in the vineyard of the Lord.

Know and realize that the earth is the Lord's, with all its turmoils and its strifes, with all its hates and jealousies, with all its political and economic disturbances.  And His ways, the Lord's ways, are not past finding out.  By living them in the little things day by day may that surety in self, that sureness in Him, be thine.  For His promises have been and are sure.  And, as His promise has been, "Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God," believe also in the Christ, who gave "If ye love me ye will keep my commandments, and I and the Father will come and abide with thee day by day."

So live, then, so think, so act in thy conversation, in thy convocation with thy fellow man, that others may know, too, that the Lord walks with thee.

Then, so instill that hope, that encouragement in the mind and in the heart of thy son that he, too, may live, may look to the Lord for strength, for purpose, for sureness; and that in the peace which is to come there will be the needs for his activity among the children of men, that the way of the Lord may be sure in the earth.

If this attitude is kept, — if the Lord be with thee, WHO may be against thee!

Let that mind be in thee, then, as was in Christ Jesus, who boldly claimed His relationship to God, and so lived among His fellow man.

He, too, showed anger at the house of the Lord being turned into a den of those who took advantage of their fellow man.  He, too, brought—through that expression, that hope—that knowledge to /those that seek His face, that He knows the heartache of disappointment, He knows the heartaches of fear, — even as He prayed, "If it be possible, let this cup pass from me — not my will, O God, but Thine be done."

In that attitude, in that pronouncement may there come to thee that strength, that knowledge that ye CAN, ye may trust wholly in the Lord.

Ready for questions.

Q-1.  Could he be transferred to some post closer to his home?
A-1  This may be, but is it best?  Rather than making the environ by doubts and fears, isn't it better to put it all into the hands and upon the heart of thy Elder Brother? yea, in the hands of thy God?  seeking that He use thee and thy body, as manifest in thy son, to bring hope and love and peace to the children of men.

Q-2.  Is it best for him where he is?
A-2.  As He gave, — consider well His answer, the Master, — "No man is in this or that position save by the grace of God."  Then the opportunities are WHERE he is in the present, USING the knowledge of the material, the mental and spiritual life for the betterment of his fellow man where he is.

That impress, that instill in self.

Q-3.  Is there any other branch of the service where he could serve, that would be less dangerous?
A-3.  No portion of the service is dangerous if he is put in the hands of God, and the self and the son live that as is known!  Look upon that condition which disturbs not from the material angle but from the standpoint of a mental and a spiritual blessing to others in the opportunities offered.

Q-4.  Could he better serve in some defense work outside the military service?
A-4.  If it had been, would not this have been the place?  If what has been given is studied, these questions will be answered.  Fill the place better WHERE YE ARE, and the Lord will open the way!  Is this not in keeping with His life, His teachings?  These are worthy of acceptation.  These are worthy of being trusted, of being lived.

We are through for the present. 

 

One of my physical expressions, the one in which I acquired the title, Yada Di Shi'ite goes back into the remote period of what you would call today 500,000 years ago.  I lived in a beautiful and vast civilization called Yu.  Yu means vast in my language.  I was a Ka-Ta in the beginning of my training in the temples in the city of Kaoti.  A Ka-Ta means a God-man or priest.

 
As I completed my 33rd degree in the order called Shi'ite, I was given the title of Yada.  Ya means spirit and da means life.  Therefore I am the spirit of life of the Shi'ite order.  I have been back and forth on the earth plane many, many, many times in that period of 500,000 years.   My last incarnation on the earth plane was 500 years ago in China.

Now I know many of you people are thinking that perhaps Russia is very likely to start atomic war with you.  They are not.  It is not their policy.  She does not want to because she does not desire for that.  Why my friends?  Because she wants to take every country she can get whole.  She does not want to destroy for she knows destroyed land is of no value at all.  Would be detrimental to her.

Russia is seeking to, like your country, like England, like every country, to lead, to become the dominating power of the earth.  All nations are seeking this and have sought it down through the history of the earth, and man on it.  No nation is innocent of it.  You decry the communistic effort to spread communism all over the earth, and yet you are spreading democracy all over the earth, or something you call democracy.  My friends, Russia does not have a true communism.  Communism means brotherly love and sharing, sharing alike not only of physical things, physical things are transitory, but share, share this, the light of your own wisdom with your fellowman, this is the important thing.  But Russia does not have this.  Democracy means the same thing as communism, it means brotherly love and sharing — sharing alike.  But you do not have this.

The moment you talk out loud about sharing something you have now created committees to put a bar against it.  To make war against communications.  Communicating in harmonious accord with one another.  Don't do this, they are individual.  You do not care if your brother dies in sleep with an empty stomach.  What do you care.  You are seeking individual aggrandizement.  This is called free enterprise.  You like that?  Let me look in your cities as I have looked and turned away, and were I emotional, I would be horrified beyond words.  I would become so utterly ashamed of having even a thought of belonging to the human race that the thought itself would annihilate me.

Your slums.  Where do you think the astral slums come from?  From your slums, you bred them.  I go all over your cities and I see this, I see this throughout.  Not only in the cities, all over the world!  I see this all over, I see it in India.  They are born, they live, if you can call it living, and they die on the streets. China, Russia, all over the Far East, Mideast, and what you call the Western half of the world.  Anywhere you turn there is mankind against his brother.  If not openly, with effort, then by paying no attention, ignoring it, seeing the crime going on and ignoring it.  We become equally guilty.  You talk about being Christian, you build great temples. India builds great temples. China, everywhere to their gods and to their devils.  And to worship these gods, they crawl all over the bleeding corpses of their fellowman to get favors from their gods.  This is Christianity?  This is Buddhism?  This is Brahamism?  This is a thousand and one other creeds, denominations, beliefs.

My friends, the most important thing to pay attention to is man, not god.  When you come to understand yourself in relationship to your fellowman; that you are to serve him in love, that you are to serve one another — you will be serving god.  Then God will not have to stand up there in the sky and say to himself, "Why did I ever create this mess?"  All I hear is shouting to me, "God do this," "God do that."  "Give me this."  "God save my country and crucify the other country."'  Beautiful heh?  These beings (UFOs) they have come because they see this impossible mess.  They hope to bring some understanding to the greater ones of every nation.  But if they want to kill themselves, the nations, all right.  But do not attempt to use atomic power to that extent — there is a possibility you will destroy the earth, because if you do, then they will have to destroy the whole human race.  They will have to kill the pupils to save the school.  (Sarcastically)  Is beautiful, is it not?

My friends, there is a whole vast culture around you that has nothing to do with the so called dead.  There are really no dead except those who are not awake.  You see, many people, great masses, all of the human race in fact, go around with their eyes open.  It appears they are awake, they are not.  They are only aware of their little outside dream, hoping it will be as they emotionally expect it to be.  They are not awake.  These are the living dead.  All of us have come up from that state.  By degrees we come out of our dream into a greater state of reality.  Those that leave the physical structure in what is called death, they enter a plane called the astral plane.  The majority enter only what is called the low level astral plane.  Are there piles and piles of these planes in places, in locales.  No.  They are simply states of awareness and human beings create states of awareness from their gatherings, or the lack of their gatherings here on this earth plane, and live in these states of awareness.

Irene [interviewer]: Would you say, Yada, that every individual here represents a state of awareness?

Yada: That is right. Right here in this room, my friends, there are various astral levels.

I hear all over your world the great cry: Peace, Peace, but who wants it?  It entails too much responsibility.  It entails giving, or letting go of what we think we own.  All of us are mere borrowers, coming to the matter world and all we can do is share the world with one another.  The moment we start making fences and putting up signs "Stay out" we have that many less friends.

A friend is a wonderful word.  I think there is no greater word for man: "a friend."  But like the word 'love,' it is badly tarnished.  Tarnished by those who walk in their sleep, who know no truth, therefore know not the words they utter in what they say they want.
 
 
All this talk about peace is only talk.  A very small, very small group of groups truly desire peace, and even the members of this group do not have peace within them, do not rest well with their own Spirit, so as a group they soon fall apart.  Sincerity, that is the word to think about when we talk of peace or anything else of worth.  How sincere are we?  Or are we just putting on a show for ourselves and others around us?

 
You see, my friends, very few of us humans know how to think about what we feel, so we do not know how to express ourselves.  So we find we are joined to members of that great tower of Babel.  I have said it before, but I will say it again, your world is walking a very narrow rim of tremendous disaster.  A disaster that will not only wipe all human beings from the earth, but all living things.  But it will not be the destructive forces of atomic power.  It is never the weapon that destroys man.  It is what the weapons are made up of in man's makeup.

Man becomes the greatest hazard to his own existence in the physical world.  The bombs, the bullets, these are just external expressions of his hate, the hate for himself.  That is man's greatest danger.  There is a great need, a vast need for more intelligent teachers to go out among the people, to get direct contact with them and to find words to reach them, causing them to come out of the dark dream in which they walk.  Basically, to do this, the human must be relieved of fear, the fear of his own existence.  Your religions have spread, have sown fear so deeply in the hearts of people, that they are not only afraid to die, they are afraid to live.  When we conquer our fear of living, it is not difficult at all to let go of our fear of dying.
 
Coming into this world of yours — we come blindly.  We have no plan to come here.  We go and come like any other growing thing and like all other growing things that have a little mind.  We have no mind [state of higher or expanded consciousness].  We are automatons — without a mind.  That lower consciousness is a robot.  Robot without a heart — without feelings.  Without heart and feelings we are in the greatest danger to ourselves, so it is easy to be a danger to every other Self.

 
. . . if you are like the jungle animal, you will have little heart.  The jungle animal is highly intelligent in his own land, in his own way, but he is without reason, except for his own uses.  And there are many beings in your world and throughout the world that are jungle animals; some like you, in what is called human form.  The form is deceiving.  It does not tell of love, kindness and understanding.  Does education improve the situation?  No!  There are vast numbers of highly educated people, academically speaking, who are little more than the most savage of animals.

 
Speaking of peace in Vietnam, doesn't that sound a little hollow to you?  Can you believe that by stopping the shooting, that there will be peace?  Did it stop in Germany?  In Japan?  In Russia?  In Italy?  In everywhere in the world?  But for how long?  Just long enough for man to vomit up the blood he has been drinking from his fellowman, before he is making more blood.

I say to you with great sincerity, when shooting stops in Vietnam it will break out somewhere else.  The world of man shall know no peace until he awakens to the fact that without sincerity of his love for himself, he has nothing to give to his fellowman, so hatred shall sweep his world away, no matter what he tries to do.  Do robots know what peace means?  Not hardly.  When peace comes to the individual, then he has something to offer another individual.

 
Audience: Would you say that anything that is born immediately starts to disintegrate, but love is never born.  It always was. 

Yada: That is right and that is the exact story, not only of the man called Jesus or Esus, but all of the great teachers that have come among Earthman.  The Christ that is born in them meaning to become aware of that which we are.  I Am The Light.  I Am the Buddhi.  I am the Christ.  I am in your world but not of it.

I keep my hands off.  I create no pressures for I know that the guiding forces that brought the world into being, brought all the masses, seemingly endless universes into action, surely could not fail that little part of the action called me.  Though I do not mean to belittle that 'me' when I say 'little me' because I am the universe in myself, just as vast as any.
 
But I, the knower, am everywhere present, so where could I be lost?  From what?  What is outside the pale?  What is the damned?  Only one thing — it is called ignorance.
 
 
When my honorable colleague Professor Luntz departed the physical world and he was taken by his teacher to many places on earth so he could observe his fellowman in action, often he went into great emotional turmoil shouting: "These could not be the beings that the Great Master Jesus Christ came to save, shed his blood in agony.  Not these monsters of hell."

Who could He have come to?  The good?  The honest?  The sincere?  Did they need saving?  If that is what He wanted to save, He has wasted his life, because they are already saved.  And if He came to save the others, he wasted his life, for they are not ready.  They did not understand.  They could not understand.  The truth is, He, as even you, have come to save yourself.  He saved himself.  He succeeded.  He didn't fail in that and you will not fail in it, no matter how many times you fall down, get back up, go back to sleep.  Eventually you will return to the Light.  You will know that I AM.  You will know. 

Now: Throughout your reincarnational existences you expand your consciousness, your ideas, your perceptions, your values. You break away from self-adopted restrictions, and you grow spiritually as you learn to step aside from limiting conceptions and dogmas.

Your rate of learning depends entirely upon you, however.  Limited, dogmatic, or rigid concepts of good and evil can hold you back.  Too narrow ideas of the nature of existence can follow you through several lives if you do not choose to be spiritually and psychically flexible.
 
These rigid ideas can indeed act as leashes, so that you are forced to circle like a tired puppy dog about a very small radius.  In such cases, through perhaps a group of existences, you will find yourself battling against ideas of good and evil, running about in a circle of confusion, doubt, and anxiety.

Your friends and acquaintances will be concerned with the same problems, for you will draw to yourself those with the same concerns.  I am telling you again, therefore, that many of your ideas of good and evil are highly distortive, and shadow all understanding you have of the nature of reality.

If you form a guilt in your mind, then it is a reality for you, and you must work it out.  But many of you form guilts for which there is no adequate cause, and you saddle yourselves with these guilts without reason.  In your dimension of activity there appear to be a wild assortment of evils.  Let me tell you that he who hates an evil merely creates another one.

Now: From within your point of reference it is often difficult for you to perceive that all events work toward creativity, or to trust in the spontaneous creativity of your own natures.  Within your system, to kill is obviously a moral crime, but to kill another in punishment only compounds the original error.  Someone very well known who established a church—if you will, a civilization—once said, "Turn the other cheek if you are attacked."  The original meaning of that remark, however, should be understood.  You should turn the other cheek because you realize that basically the attacker only attacks himself.

Then you are free, and the reaction is a good one.  If you turn the other cheek without this understanding, however, and feel resentful, or if you turn the other cheek out of a feeling of pseudomoral superiority, then the reaction is far from adequate.

Now all of this can be applied to your relationships in your reincarnational existences, and of course it also is highly pertinent to your current daily experience.  If you hate another person, that hate may bind you to him through as many lives as you allow the hate to consume you.  You draw to yourself in this existence and in all others those qualities upon which you concentrate your attention.  If you vividly concern yourself with the injustices you feel have been done you, then you attract more such experience, and if this goes on, then it will be mirrored in your next existence. It is true that in between lives there is "time" for understanding and contemplation.

Those who do not take advantage of such opportunities in this life often do not do so when it is over.  Consciousness will expand.  It will create.  It will turn itself inside out to do so.  There is nothing outside of yourself that will force you to understand these issues or face them.

It is useless then to say, "When this life is over I will look back upon my experience and mend my ways."  This is like a young man saying, "When I grow old and retire, I will use all those abilities that I am not now developing."  You are setting the stage for your "next" life now.  The thoughts you think today will in one way or another become the fabric of your next existence.  There are no magic words that will make you wise, that will fill you with understanding and compassion, that will expand your consciousness. 

Your thoughts and everyday experience contain the answers.  Any successes in this life, any abilities, have been worked out through past experience.  They are yours by right.  You worked to develop them.  If you look about you at your relatives, friends, acquaintances, and business associates, you will also see what kind of a person you are, for you are drawn to them as they are drawn to you, through very basic inner similarities.

If you examine your thoughts for five minutes at various times during the day for several times a month, you will indeed receive a correct impression of the kind of life you have so far arranged for yourself in the next existence.  If you are not pleased with what you discover, then you had better begin changing the nature of your thoughts and feelings.

As you will see later in this book, you can do so. There is no rule saying that in each life you must meet again those whom you have known before; and yet through the nature of attraction, that is often the case.

You may be born into your present family for many reasons.  You may find after death a much stronger relationship emotionally with a personality from a past life.  If you are married, for example, and have no true rapport with your mate, you may instead find a past wife or husband waiting for you.

Oftentimes members of various groups — military groups, church groups, hunting groups, will in another life form family relationships in which they will then work out old problems in new ways.  Families must be considered as gestalts of psychic activity; they have a subjective identity, of which no particular member of the group may be aware.

Families have subconscious purposes, though the individual members of the family may pursue these goals without conscious awareness.  Such groups are set up ahead of time, so to speak, in between physical existences.  Oftentimes four or five individuals will set themselves a given challenge, and assign to the various members different parts to play.  Then in a physical existence the roles will be worked out.

The inner self is always aware of the hidden mechanisms of these family gestalts.  Those who have been closely bound through emotional ties often prefer to remain in closely tied or loosely tied physical relationships that continue through many lifetimes.  New relationships are always encouraged however, for you can have ingrown reincarnational "families."  Many of these form physical organizations that are actually manifestations of inner groupings.

I spoke earlier of rigid concepts of right and wrong.  There is only one way to avoid this problem.  Only true compassion and love will lead to an understanding of the nature of good, and only these qualities will serve to annihilate the erroneous and distortive concepts of evil.

The simple fact is that as long as you believe in the concept of evil, it is a reality in your system, and you will always find it manifested.  Your belief in it will, therefore, seem highly justified.  If you carry this concept through succeeding generations, through reincarnations, then you add to its reality.

Let me try to throw
