This article reports about published research findings of six Bible researchers/historians about the Christed Jesus along with exemplifying perspectives from a variety of extensively documented channeling case chronologies. This information is not widely known because evidence doesn't always correspond with perceived consensus beliefs promulgated in books from commercial publishing companies.
This art is from the 2017 blog article "Transcendental Communication Transcripts: From the Creation of the Cosmos to the Second Coming" and shows one of 20th Century artist Clyde Provonsha's illustrations depicting the second coming of Jesus.
The excerpts featured in this retrospective article offer the reader some essential perspectives about 'Jesus Christ' from 16 previous blog articles. Presented in chronological order based on when posted at this blog, the title of each article precedes the selected passages and is a link to that article if the reader is interested in learning further details.
"On Amon-Ra, Bel-Marduk and Jesus Christ" 2012
The
'Second Coming' is among the diverse metaphysical topics addressed in
the channeled reading transcripts that document the psychic vocation of
Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) who came to be known as 'the sleeping prophet.'
When considering the passages of the readings about the Second Coming, one should understand the nature of the communication that was given through the entranced Edgar Cayce. Reading 254-2 given on March 19, 1919 presented the response to a question about "how the psychic work is accomplished through this body."
"On Amon-Ra, Bel-Marduk and Jesus Christ" 2012
In the first chapter of The Secret in the Bible,
Bushby wrote: "The concealed message that the Bible holds underscores
the mystery teachings of the Secret Societies of Freemasons,
Rosicrucians, Knights Templar, the Eastern Star and others that many
people in the outer world have never heard." The book offers a
sixteen-worded sentence presented as a "special message": "Learn deeply
of the mind and its mystery for therein lies the true secret of
immortality."
Here is one of Bushby's observations about the Anunnaki.
Sumerian clay tablets spoke repeatedly of a knowledge given to the people by a race called the Anunnaki. That plural word had a striking similarity to the singular word in the Book of Jasher, 'the sons of Anun' and it may be that the 'Sons of Anun,' as a group, were called the Anunnaki. They came from 'The Land of the Guardians' and it appeared that the Anunnaki was another name for 'Guardians.' [Channeled entities have also spoke of the 'Guardians,' incl. 1, 2.]
The Secret in the Bible followed the publication of Bushby's The Bible Fraud
(2001) — a book presented as "the untold story of Jesus and his twin
brother, Judas Khrestus" and utilizing "rare archival manuscripts and
difficult-to-find ancient reference books" to offer the author's
appraisals of how the story of Jesus as presented in the Holy Bible may
have derived. Bushby's sources include the "records of the Rabbis."
A common appellation for Jesus in the Talmud was Yeshu'a ben Panthera, an allusion to the widespread Jewish belief during the earliest centuries of the Christian era that Jesus was the result of an illegitimate union between his mother and a Roman soldier named Tiberius Julius Abdes Panthera.
There was another, lesser-known name Jesus was called during those early years and that was 'Yeshu'a ben Stada' (Son of Stada). This name was recorded in the records of the Sanhedrin and also in the Talmud.
These apparently contradictory assertions can be ironed out when read in context. In summary, Stada was Yeshu'a (Jesus) ben Panthera's mother.
The life of Mariamne Herod's twin sons provided the essence of the entire Gospel story. To unravel the 'King' story of Jesus ben Panthera, it is first important to clarify the Gospel identity of his twin brother, who was called Judas Thomas or 'Thomas the Twin' in the New Testament.
Concerning
the word 'Christ,' Bushby appraised that "'Krist' according to St.
Epiphanius was the spiritual Self in each and every living person" with
the author citing as his source "Heresies (Epiph. Haer.), liii, I."
Bushby wrote further:
In fact, the 'anointed' or Krist figures actually preceded the writing of the Old Testament in the story of Krishna.
From the Essenes many of their manuscripts referred to Kristo, Krst, or Krist, and was a divine internal figure in Essenic minds and set forth primarily in the Book of Enoch as One eternal with God.
Krist was also established in the doctrine of the Gnostics who held Kristo to be the personal and immortal Spirit of Man. The son of Poseidon and Meduse was called Khryst and the priests of Apollo were known as Khyrstes. In fact, the word Kristo and its derivations, Krst, Krist, Kristo, Khyst and Krish-na appeared in every ancient religious system and showed the original Kristo concept was believed to be the personal and invisible mediator and guide between God and everything spiritual in man.
Ancient
documents were amalgamated when Emperor Constantine presided over the
Council of Nicaea to decree what Bushby called "a political act of
deification" that "effectively and legally placed Judas Khrestus and
Rabbi Jesus among the Roman gods as one individual composition today
called Jesus Christ."
One of Bushby's sources was the British Chronicles (1854).
In the British Chronicles, King Tenvantius was recorded as the father of a man called Cunobeline, the terminology in this application meaning 'absorbed into the family by marriage.' This was a well-established adoptive naming practice of the times (Alford's Regio Fides) and from information available, it seemed that when Rabbi Jesus married Mary Magdelene, he was given the name, Cunobeline. The structure of the title, Cunobeline, represented spiritual renewal over carnal death (Cuno—carnal, death, mortify; Bel—Baal-Baal—sun, new-life, re-birth) and may have been applied to Rabbi Jesus during some form of Celtic initiation.
Bushby's source for the latter passage is Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, Albert Mackey, McClure Publishing, 1917.
In
the account formulated by Bushby, Rabbi Jesus Cunobeline became a
member of the sacred order of the Druidic priesthood and was initiated
into the Egyptian mysteries. However, when he attempted to make public
the essence of the hidden Mysteries, this violation of the
Ancient Rule of the Order of High Priests resulted with him being
accused of many things by the chief priests. He was found guilty and
eventually was killed by stoning.
The
elements of the twins' life stories are appraised by Bushby as having
been diffused into the handwritten manuscripts of the 'presbyters' —
public orators that today are known as the 'founding church fathers.'
Bushby observed that "the number of god-men known to religious history comes to thirty-four. Of these, sixteen became saviour-gods through stories remarkably similar to the one developed for Jesus Christ." They
included Osiris in Egypt, Bel in Babylon, Dionysius in Greece, Krishna
in India, Bali in Asia, Quetzalcoatl in Mexico, Prometheus in Greece,
and Mithra in Persia.
Using
the physical body of Mark Probert as a channel, Yada di Shi'ite also
mentioned there had been "sixteen crucified saviors" in lectures,
including in the lecture given the title "Love, the Secret Key of
Creation." A book entitled The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviors (1875) was written by Kersey Graves and may be read in a free Internet edition.
"The Second Coming" (2014)
When considering the passages of the readings about the Second Coming, one should understand the nature of the communication that was given through the entranced Edgar Cayce. Reading 254-2 given on March 19, 1919 presented the response to a question about "how the psychic work is accomplished through this body."
2. EC: We have the body here - we have had it before. In this state the conscious mind is under subjugation of the subconscious or soul mind. The information obtained and given by the body is obtained through the power of mind over mind, or power of mind over physical matter, or obtained by the suggestion as given to the active part of the subconscious mind. It obtains its information from that which it has gathered, either from other subconscious minds - put in touch with the power of the suggestion of the mind controlling the speaking faculties of this body, or from minds that have passed into the Beyond, which leave their impressions and are brought in touch by the power of the suggestion. What is known to one subconscious mind or soul is known to another, whether conscious of the fact or not. The subjugation of the conscious mind putting the subconscious in action in this manner or in one of the other of the manners as described, this body obtains its information when in the subconscious state.
3. (Q) Is this information always correct?
(A) Correct in so far as the suggestion is in the proper channel or accord with the action of subconscious or soul matter.
Here are portions of reading 3976-15 of January 19, 1934 concerning the premise of a day and year of the Lord.
In the following paragraph, the communicator on this occasion is recorded as having offered an identification: "I, Halaliel, have spoken." Halaliel is described in reading 254-83 as "the one who from the beginning has been a leader of the heavenly host . . ."
An analysis of the 'John Peniel' prophecy was published in the July 1982 edition of The A.R.E. Journal. W. H. Church wrote in "'His Name Shall Be John' An Objective Look at the John Peniel Controversy":
W. H. Church's article also mentions the 'Ra Ta' expression found in the Edgar Cayce channeled reading transcripts in relation to another instance of the year 1998 being given: ". . . as this priest may develop himself to be in that position, to be in the capacity of a liberator of the world in its relationships to individuals in those periods to come; for he must enter again at that period, or in 1998."
2. EC: Yes; as each of you gathered here have your own individual development, yet as each seeks to be a channel of blessings to the fellow man, each attunes self to the Throne of universal information. And there may be accorded you that which may be beneficial, not only in thine own experience, but that which will prove helpful, hopeful, in the experience of others.
3. Many an one may question you as to the sources, as to the channel through such information that may be given you at this time has come. Know it has reached that which is as high for each of you in your respective development as you have merited, and do merit; and has accorded and does accord to the realm of light that which may be aidful and helpful in thine own experience, and in the experience of those that ye in your service to they fellow man may give unto others.
4. Hence, in giving the interpretation, MANY are present; many of those whose names alone would bring to others awe - discredit, yet - even a wonderment. For, not only then must the information be instructive but enlightening; yet it must also be so given that it may be a PRACTICAL thing in the experience of thine own self and in the experience of life of thine fellow man. Not only must it be informative in nature, but it must also be that which is constructive; though that which is informative and that which may be enlightening and constructive must at times overlap one another.
5. First, then: There is soon to come into the world a body; one of our own number here that to many has been a representative of a sect, of a thought, of a philosophy, of a group, yet one beloved of all men in all places where the universality of God in the earth has been proclaimed, where the oneness of the Father as God is known and is consciously magnified in the activities of individuals that proclaim the acceptable day of the Lord. Hence that one John, the beloved in the earth - his name shall be John, and also at the place where he met face to face.
6. When, where, is to be this one? In the hearts and minds of those that have set themselves in that position that they become a channel through which spiritual, mental and material things become one in purpose and desire of that physical body!
10. Who shall proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord in him that has been born in the earth in America? Those from that land where there has been the regeneration, not only of the body but the mind and the spirit of men, THEY shall come and declare that John Peniel is giving to the world the new ORDER of things. Not that these that have been proclaimed have been refused, but that they are made PLAIN in the minds of men, that they may know the truth and the truth, the life, the light, will make them free.

Actually, the probable lineage of the real John "Peniel" (whose surname, like that prophetic reference to "Immanuel" in Isaiah 7:14, may be more symbolic than literal) has already been intimated, if not precisely pinpointed, in other Cayce readings touching on the subject—readings that are generally unknown or else ignored . . .
If the reading that tells of him can be literally interpreted (3976-15), John Peniel was to be the name of an incoming entity on the "Other Side" at that time (January 19, 1934), who would be a reincarnation of John the Beloved. His unusual mission in the earth was to be as a messenger who would proclaim the long-awaited Second Coming of the Lord. A date of 1998, according to another reading, was set for that epochal event. This was based on Cayce's interpretation of an esoteric chronology in stone, which is an interior aspect of the carefully laid-out architecture within the Great Pyramid at Gizah.
In this same pyramid did the Great Initiate, the Master, take those last of the Brotherhood degrees with John, the forerunner of Him, at that place. As is indicated in that period where entrance is shown to be in that land that was set apart, as that promised to that peculiar peoples, as were rejected—as is shown in that portion when there is the turning back from the raising up of Xerxes as the deliverer from an unknown tongue or land, and again is there seen that this occurs in the entrance of the Messiah in this period—1998. 5847-5, June 30, 1932
In excerpts from yet another reading about a year later, further information on the prophesied reappearance of the risen Saviour seems to have been communicated through the sleeping Cayce by the Beloved Disciple himself for the reading began: "I, John, would speak with thee concerning the Lord, the Master, as He walked among men." (5749-5)
There may also be an esoteric correspondence with the pineal gland, seat of the Christed Consciousness.
. . . Edgar Cayce's role seems firmly established as a forerunner of the event, who was sent to warn the people to make ready the way. This was confirmed very beautifully in an unusual dream Mr. Cayce experienced (indeed, were not all of his dreams "unusual"!) in December, 1942.
The dream, in brief, was this: The voice of God was heard "as from out of the cloud and the lightning," addressing an assembled throng of shrouded figures on the Other Side, where Cayce was also present. Twice the voice asks, "Who will warn My children?" The Master offers to go but is told that the time is not yet fulfilled for His return to the earth plane. Then the deceased evangelist, Dwight L. Moody, speaks up: "Why not send Cayce, he is there now." At this juncture, the Master speaks: "Father, Cayce will warn My brethren." The dream, or vision, concludes with the voices of the assembled throng in a grand chorus: "And we shall all help!" (Dream of December 12, 1942, or early morning of the 13th; see 294-196.)

The chapters of Messages from Heaven
focusing on Jesus, Buddha, Moses and Muhammad are introduced with
commentary about the life of each and the chapters conclude with the
thoughts of the channeler/author.
Upon
reading the transcript of the channeled discourse attributed to 'Jesus
Christ,' it is evident that the objective of the commentary is not to
prove the identity of the communicator but to encourage reflection of
spiritual truths. It is as if the figurative embodiment of Jesus Christ
as formulated in the 1611 King James Bible is addressing contemporary
people. I found myself having a similar impression while reading the
transcripts of the three other discourses featured in Messages from Heaven in relation to extant scriptures and popular understanding of these adulated religious figures.

No, Jesus Christ continues to exist today and has been working tirelessly throughout those two thousand years to provide guidance to people from his residence in Heaven. I have not rested a single day as I have sought to fulfill my mission. I have never stopped working; I have never rested. I have worked night and day to make your lives happier and fill them with more love. Please know and believe that I have been guiding you to help you find deeper faith.
Right now I reside in the ninth dimension and have taken the reins to begin the movement of spreading the Truths. There is a reason I have taken the reins: I am in charge of purifying Earth and providing salvation. I am the guiding spirit who has been entrusted with this responsibility.
When I was on Earth, His will was far beyond my comprehension. I knew that I was one of His servants and that He had entrusted me with a mission, but I could not see the full extent of my role. From a worldly perspective, the majority of His messages would have been seen as completely unreasonable, but it was not my place to ask Him why things had to be that way. This is why Christians developed a value for the virtue of obedience.
I am just one of many of the Heavenly Father's keys that help people open the gates of Heaven.
I would describe the Heavenly Father as Truth. Truth is His other name.
God does not always give us what we wish for, because the purpose of this world is to be a place where our souls can learn and grow.
Even if Saint Mary miraculously heals the sick at the spring of Lourdes, hospitals adamantly refuse to provide written confirmation that those illnesses have been healed. I cannot hold back my tears of shock when I see such strong effects of materialism.
It was never my intention to die on the cross to atone for everyone's sins.
Today, two thousand years after my death, there are as many as two billion Christians on Earth. Two billion people have found faith as a result of this single grain of wheat that sacrificed its life.
I was a harbinger who was entrusted with the job of signaling the arrival of the Kingdom of God. I was nothing more than a single trumpet that kept on playing, and my work never accomplished anything beyond that.

Jesus — (the Nazarene)
Q: Would it be possible by automatic writing or some other means to tell us what Jesus said?
A: I don't know. The difficulty is that no one recorded the utterances of the Nazarene at the time and so memory would have to play its part. His main teaching was the gospel of love. "Love thy neighbour as thyself," "Do good to those who hurt you." Love is the fulfilling of the law. What else is required to help mankind? Love is the highest expression of the spirit. Love is what the Great Spirit has to offer. Love is what we offer you.
The object of the Nazarene's mission was to demonstrate spiritual reality. If the Nazarene were to appear in your world today and to repeat what he said 2,000 years ago, I doubt if anybody would listen.
Q: Are Christ and Cosmic Christ, two aspects of the same existence?
A: You are allowing names to bother you. There is the man Jesus, whose surname was not Christ, and there is what is called the Christ power, the power of the spirit. If you differentiate between the man and the power that animated Him you have the clearest picture of all.

The source of Seth Speaks is a series of trance dictation sessions with the intended outcome being an entire book written by Seth.
"There were three men whose lives became confused in history and merged, and whose composite history became known as the life of Christ [the historical Jesus]."
The historical Jesus knew who he was, but he also knew that he was one of three personalities composing one entity. To a large extent he shared in the memory of the other two.
The third personality, mentioned many times by me, has not in your terms yet appeared, although his existence has been prophesied as the "Second Coming" (Matthew 24). Now these prophecies were given in terms of the current culture at that time, and therefore, while the stage has been set, the distortions are deplorable, for this Christ will not come at the end of your world as the prophecies have been maintaining.
He will not come to reward the righteous and send evildoers to eternal doom. He will, however, begin a new religious drama. A certain historical continuity will be maintained. As happened once before, however, he will not be generally known for who he is. There will be no glorious proclamation to which the whole world will bow. He will return to straighten out Christianity, which will be in a shambles at the time of his arrival, and to set up a new system of thought when the world is sorely in need of one.
By that time, all religions will be in severe crisis. He will undermine religious organizations — not unite them. His message will be that of the individual in relation to All That Is. He will clearly state methods by which each individual can attain a state of intimate contact with his own entity; the entity to some extent being man's mediator with All That Is.
By 2075, all of this will be already accomplished.
"Parallels Between Life Narratives of Jesus and Bel" (2017)
The beliefs surrounding Bel were similar to those which came, at a later date, to surround Jesus. This we know because there has been discovered, engraved on baked clay, the programme of the drama of the arrest, trial, death and resurrection of Bel which was in use at the time when Bel was worshipped in Babylon. Consequently it was in existence when the Gospels were being compiled and we find, when we consider the compilation of the Gospels, how it was used as the basis for the Christian drama.
Arthur Findlay's Where Two Worlds Meet (1951) is described on the title page as "The Verbatim Record of a Series of Nineteen Séances with John Campbell Sloan, the famous Glasgow Direct Voice Medium." The following transcript excerpt is from a 1944 Direct Voice mediumship session when an unidentified male voice was heard to speak about spiritual progress in "the celestial spheres on the spirit side of life." This inspired a seance participant to ask about Jesus.
[A man's voice] " . . . Progress all the time, until, in God's good time, you reach the fulfillment of a purified soul, that can work in harmony with the Great Spirit of All Life. Progress will go on until the full theme and completion of the Master's Will is accomplished, and you are able to mix with those Shining Ones, in a glorified condition, whom you hope to join some day."
Mr. Cameron asked: "Are you referring to Jesus?," and received the reply:

Paul has stated that he passed into Spirit upon being beheaded at age 64 under the rule of Emperor Nero. During lectures recorded for video DVDs, Paul has shared his perspectives of such subjects as karma, reincarnation and 'levels of progression' in the afterlife.
During a lecture at Bosworth Hall recorded for the 2011 DVD "Life After Death: Your Spiritual Journey," Paul is heard to say that Level Ten is "the final clearance level before becoming part of the Source. So even Jesus Christ hasn't actually gone to the Source. But he doesn't come down to the Earth plane. He sends me instead. And other people like me."
