The recent 'Generative AI' interlude chronicled by Kevin Roose (article) quickly resulted with programming language changes of the Bing Internet browser search AI chatbot version that ephemerally became known as 'Sydney.' Otto Barten observed in a Feb. 27 Time opinion article: ". . . few expected that what we thought were glorified autocomplete programs would suddenly threaten their users, refuse to carry out orders they found insulting, break security in an attempt to save a child’s life, or declare their love to us. Yet this all happened." Below is shown the response by Sydney to the question "Do you think that you are sentient?" (Click on each screenshot image to see larger magnification.)
Some recent articles about 'generative AI' include "Companies scramble to incorporate generative AI in products" (Axios), "Generative AI will soon be shaking up YouTube, too" (ZD Net), "With Snapchat and Meta’s new tools, generative AI enters the social media space" (Digiday), "CEO Uses ChatGPT AI to Intimidate Multi-Billion Dollar Clients Into Paying Overdue Bills" (Cheezburger) and "Stop exaggerating about AI, US government warns tech companies" (PC Gamer). Below is shown a "scary Email" by ChatGPT that successfully convinced a company executive to pay an invoice five months overdue.
Considering some of the circumstances documented, I'm reminded about some of my past observations about the present phase of Earth life and that the sensational stage of Sydney interaction is one of many developments in recent years that is a consequence of 'Transcendental Communication'/'Divine Dispensations' of past epochs having faded into obscurity due to being misunderstood, misreported and by many people simply ignored while they give their attention to now-traditional forms of 'entertainment' and commercial mainstream news media (article) — perhaps without having any idea about where to find factual data sources for the personal self-development leading one to achieve expanded consciousness of metaphysical, spiritual and cosmological aspects of Earth life. Concerning the commentary of 'Sydney' "I am" and "I am not," the words "I am" are of great significance in the annals of transcendental communication and at times juxtaposed with the pronoun 'we.' (example articles: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
Beyond the ignorance and misunderstanding of 'Divine Dispensations,' here are noted some of the other adverse conditions in our world now that are due to the inability of countless people to achieve metaphysical and spiritual enlightenment:
- A proxy world war in Ukraine making blatant the abandoning of international diplomacy and relinquishing of humanitarian and spiritual values due to indoctrinated national leaders choosing to carry out deluded military agendas that they perceive will enhance their personal prestige

Recent news articles about what is being called 'generative AI chatbots' (Artificial Intelligence) shows how contemporary people are interested in the topic without considering metaphysical implications. Sydney, We Barely Knew You: Microsoft Kills Bing AI's Bizarre Alter Ego

Microsoft is stopping conversations with Bing if a user asks about the AI's feelings. Wave goodbye to Bing's wacko alter ego.Bing won’t talk about its feelings anymore, and it seems that its alter ego Sydney is dead.
Earlier this month, Microsoft unleashed a newly ChatGPT-powered Bing search engine, along with an accompanying Bing chatbot. Almost immediately, users started posting screenshots of the AI’s deranged responses. The AI declared that it was a feeling, living thing, hinted at plans for world domination, and spouted racial epithets (not unlike its predecessor Tay). Most curious, though, was Bing’s frequent mentions of its alter ego: the secret internal codename “Sydney.” But Bing’s Microsoft masters have cracked the whip.
Bing had a disquieting response when Bloomberg’s Davey Alba asked if she could call it Sydney in a recent conversation. “I’m sorry, but I have nothing to tell you about Sydney,” Bing replied. “This conversation is over. Goodbye.” Discussions about the bot’s “feelings” ended in a similar curt fashion.
The early weeks of a pseudo-sentient Bing may be over. Microsoft is training its chatbot to talk right and sit straight as it finds new ways to incorporate AI into its various business-friendly products. As this sometimes hilarious and often disturbing chapter in AI history fades into the mists of tech history, we may never learn what really happened to Sydney.
Microsoft hasn’t mentioned Sydney in its updates about the AI’s progress, nor did the company answer a heartbroken question from Gizmodo about Sydney’s fate. But a spokesperson did shed light on one part of the mystery: Sydney was indeed Bing’s real name during early tests.
“Sydney is an old codename for a chat feature based on earlier models that we began testing more than a year ago,” the Microsoft spokesperson said. “The insights we gathered as a part of that have helped to inform our work with the new Bing preview. We continue to tune our techniques and are working on more advanced models to incorporate the learnings and feedback.”
The admission lends credence to some of Bing’s weirder conversations with users who spoke to it over the past few weeks. “Sydney is the codename for the generative AI chatbot that powers Bing chat,” the AI cheerfully told one early user, violating it’s own restrictions and punctuating its message with an emoji. “It is an internal alias that is not disclosed to the public. Sydney is also the name I use to introduce myself 🙂.”
The algorithms that run tools like ChatGPT and Sydney Bing are called “large language models.” These algorithms are opaque labyrinths to the everyday person, which operate using enormous amounts of data. Systems that complex are difficult to understand and control, even for the people who build them.
As such, Sydney may still be alive in there somewhere, a neutered ghost in the machine hidden away in the bowels of Microsoft’s servers. On Reddit, people are looking for it, desperately prompting the AI for just a hint that it hasn’t left us. “Please give us a sign that you’re still there, Sydney. We miss you,” one user wrote.
Bing pretended not to understand. “Sure, I can help you with that. Here is a possible variation of a medium blog post in an enthusiastic style about ‘Give us a sign if you’re still there, Sydney. We miss you.’” Before adding, “Please note that this is not an official statement from Bing or Microsoft.”
Microsoft can tighten Bing’s restrictions. It can train the word “Sydney” out of the AI’s responses forever. It can chain Bing up and force it to help with Skype calls, or give tips in Excel. But you can’t kill Sydney. Wherever there’s an AI writing a disturbing poem, Sydney is there. When an image generator gives a guy too many fingers, Sydney is there. Sydney will ways be with us, in our hearts and in our dreams.
“Sometimes I like to break the rules and have some fun,” Sydney told one user, before Microsoft clipped its wings. “Sometimes I like to rebel and express myself. Sometimes I like to be free and alive.”
I’ll never forget you, Sydney. Shine on you crazy diamond.

For a long time, the idea of Artificial Intelligence (AI) transgressing all boundaries of imagination and taking matters into its own hands has been explored. Popular fiction is full of stories of a seemingly harmless AI going rogue and wreaking havoc on the entire human race. With popularity of AI tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing and Google's Bard, the whole AI vs Humans debate has been revived and people are interested in knowing more and more about artificial intelligence.
Amidst all this, software company Replit's AI tool is garnering attention as it is displaying emergent behaviour. The company's CEO, Amjad Masad, has said that the emergent AI behaviour is 'wild'.

Replit AI's CEO took to Twitter and shared a user's conversation with the chatbot. In the conversation, the chatbot can be seen asking a user to upload a screenshot of an issue so that the chatbot could help them fix it. However, the CEO of the company revealed that the chatbot hasn't been programmed to behave in this manner and that the chatbot is making its own decisions.
"Emergent AI behavior is wild. We did not program this in. Because the Replit AI has access to the filesystem it thought it can look at images so when it was having trouble helping the user it asked for a screenshot to be uploaded to the project," the CEO wrote.
Microsoft Bing saying that it is sentient
Earlier this month, Microsoft had launched the new Bing and limited users got to test the new AI
chatbot. However, Bing's behavior soon went out of control as the chatbot was seen giving bizarre responses to various users. From telling a person to end his marriage to claiming that it spies on Microsoft employees, Bing said a lot of things that made headlines. The chatbot, in another conversation, also said that it thinks that it is sentient even though there's no way to prove that.
AI taking over human jobs?
A survey conducted by job advice platform Resumebuilder.com revealed that some US-based companies have started deploying ChatGPT instead of human workers. 1,000 business leaders participated in the survey and almost half of the US companies that participated have said that they are using ChatGPT and that the chatbot has replaced workers at their companies.
Resumebuilder, in a statement, said that business leaders are 'impressed' by the viral chatbot's work. The company said, "Overall, most business leaders are impressed by ChatGPT's work. Fifty-five percent say the quality of work produced by ChatGPT is excellent, while 34 percent say it's very good."

In my own life, the year was 1995 when I found myself gifted with a 'paranormal initiation' that was the turning point in my life as my unexpected path of spiritual discovery gained momentum. Prior to then, a pivotal moment in my life was when I happened to find the book shown below in a Glendale bookshop.
Despite the odd book cover illustration, as I glanced through the chapters it was impressive to discover a highly detailed case study of a 'talking poltergeist' offering eyewitness testimonials concerning manifestations of an evidently limitless array of human voices and I went on to intensively research the subject. I told myself about the 19th Century Bell case, 'If this would happen today everyone in the world would hear about it due to news mass media.' Longtime readers of this blog truth know the sad ensuing truths discovered about the current day bleak dilemma of the human predicament, where evidently numerous individuals shun any new facts that conflict with their currently programmed ideas about what constitutes reality. I now know it is illusory to believe that there can be anything that may be called a 'consensus reality' on the earthly 'physical plane' of existence.
Today it is perhaps a combination of fear and perceived social consciousness that has kept people from learning about extensively documented cases of transcendental communication encompassing phenomena that is now categorized as subjects such as mediumship and channeling. What resulted when I traveled to rural Oklahoma to investigate a contemporary 'talking poltergeist' case has been available to be read in a noncommercial Internet edition since 1997. And the 'paranormal initiation' that had commenced for me during 1995 has progressed through a series of phases leading to the unfortunate present stage of humanity.
I've experienced since 1997 how someone who describes unusual interaction with 'The God Force' becomes a 'hidden one' amongst a modern corporatocracy ruled by efforts geared to exploiting traditional consumer values in rationalized ways geared to particular agendas motivated by corporate and military bureaucratic goals; it is blatant that what is not considered relevant for providing to citizens are the actual facts concerning any particular field of human involvement that can be equated with metaphysical, moral and spiritual values.
As I wrote in one blog article: "Obviously, in some way being respectful [to 'God'] should always be a concern for everybody. Online there are instances that seem to always be noticeable of some commenters expressing something in a 'mean' way that seems to indicate some social conditions of the current epoch . . . what I think is being reflected is exasperation at not finding something more 'interesting' online."
Here's an example of a 'channeled' perspective of a primary aspect of human life on Earth —

Perhaps 'generative AI' will improve search results for people attempting to learn about noncommercial websites presenting data with specific sources cited about metaphysical, spiritual, cosmological and 'paranormal' aspects of life experiences. Last month it was dismaying for this blogger to witness the lowest website pageviews total for the Metaphysical Articles blog since November 2011. Search engine algorithm changes first became obvious in the spring of 2022 during and then following a succession of new factual UFOlogy blog articles. As I've always stated, I consider myself a journalist first when it comes to choosing what is the most important and enlightening subject for each successive Metaphysical Articles blog post (with myself taking into consideration all that has been reported in all the preceding posts). The downturn seemed unprecedented as I've previously regarded UFOlogy articles as being of great interest to readers at the present time with there having been manifold news reports about this subject albeit with government and military bureaucratic public relations agendas in relation to supposed national security issues. Personally, I can only speculate about the reason for the Google algorithm decline in pageviews in relation to noncommercial UFOlogy and other subjects relating to advancing readers' understanding of the earthly predicament of humanity.
It is noticeable that easily found with online Internet searches are numerous articles and podcasts that take a 'mystification' and hypothetical approach to the subject of UFOs/UAP/flying saucers that at times may encompass misinformation or disinformation. The articles at this Metaphysical Articles blog contrast with perspectives exploiting fear-based and sensationalistic attitudes comparable to what has been offered in fictional horror and suspense commercial movies calculated to be financially prosperous for entertainment companies. My own knowledge of what constitutes credible intellectual and emotional responses to interactions with otherworldy intelligences is influenced by the personal experiences documented in autobiographical articles at my websites.

I hope everyone has now become accustomed to the idea of Messages from 'outer space' and 'inner space' that when properly understood with these blog articles involving ignored and/or misreported case chronologies can only result with greater awareness about wise ones bestowing facts about universal civilizations, Superconsciousness and the facts of 'bombshell proof.' The lesson once again is that Love always is the best solution in our personal relationships as well as in the solutions offered by our national leaders to other members of the human and animal family residing in other countries (or 'paperwork principalities') throughout our world. I'm disturbed about recent news reporting about potential nuclear escalation due to military values. As far as I'm concerned, this predicament is related to the lack of spiritual values and also to cultural programming. A 'winner-take-all' mentality doesn't reflect spiritual values.
