Currently on sale at supermarket checkout counters is a magazine "Reissue of LIFE's Classic Edition" that first appeared in 2012. Other magazines with biblical subjects are noticeable as well and upon checking I found them also to be reissues for this past Christmas 2018 season. The recapitulated thematic aspects of this magazine come across as orthodox and uninspired as one might expect from the corporate mass media during the Age of Assumed Imperatives when it seems financial gain is the only consideration among publishing company executives. In comparison, considering the gamut of topics at this blog, readers will notice that the experiencers of metaphysical revelation during their lifetimes have been widely distrusted, shunned, or judged as deluded by others who evidently couldn't have been bothered to learn anything whatsoever about them. The subject of the blog Article last week, Kathryn Kuhlman, is one of the experiencers who fared rather well in relation to public perceptions about her yet now she too is becoming a figure of the esoteric for new generations. One can only have pity for the truth seekers who think they'll ever find the answers from any source when the commercial incentive is predominant.
The proverb "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light" (Esphesians 5:14) is echoed in the declarations of the Transcendental Communicator 'Yada' in public sessions (article) when he spoke through his channel, the 'trance medium' Mark Probert. Q: Would it be possible by automatic writing or some other means to tell us what Jesus said?
A: I don't know. The difficulty is that no one recorded the utterances of the Nazarene at the time and so memory would have to play its part. His main teaching was the gospel of love. "Love thy neighbour as thyself," "Do good to those who hurt you." Love is the fulfilling of the law. What else is required to help mankind? Love is the highest expression of the spirit. Love is what the Great Spirit has to offer. Love is what we offer you.
The object of the Nazarene's mission was to demonstrate spiritual reality. If the Nazarene were to appear in your world today and to repeat what he said 2,000 years ago, I doubt if anybody would listen.
Q: Are Christ and Cosmic Christ, two aspects of the same existence?
A: You are allowing names to bother you. There is the man Jesus, whose surname was not Christ, and there is what is called the Christ power, the power of the spirit. If you differentiate between the man and the power that animated Him you have the clearest picture of all.
