Sadly for some the lack of confidence can have a negative impact of their health, wellbeing and their ability to live a fulfilling life. Thank you to PTP for sending me their new PTP Confident Girls Foundation range of products. Here are my thoughts on some of my favourites from the collection:
Towel X
This is the gym towel that hands down beats any other gym towel I have used. What I really like about the Towel X is that is has a sleeve that keeps you towel in place on an exercise bench, meaning your towels stays put and you don't have to worry about it sliding all over the place. Other features that make this towel amazing is the powerful concealed magnet that allows you to effortlessly secure your towel directly onto any exercise machine or locker, plus it has a large pocket with zipper which is perfect for storing keys, phone, locker keys and any other small item.
Microband X+ 3 Pack
Firstly the pack makes it easy to invest in a set of bands with different levels of resistance that are each colour coded for easy identification of level. What I really like about the Microband X+ is that they are made from a non-stick, reactiv knit, hybrid composition that wont curl, making them comfortable to use so you can focus on your training. The fabric is also anti bacterial and machine washable, just pop them on a gentle machine wash cycle at 30 degrees celsius and presto, they will look and smell clean!
Massage Therapy Roller Firm
Made from high-density EVA, the Massage Therapy Roller Firm is an effective piece of equipment to use whenever you need to relieve muscle tightness and aches on your own. The special cone-shaped surface allows you to deeply penetrate into soft tissues, breaking up scar tissue and fascial adhesions. The design is light weight, durable, small enough (30cm in length) to fit into a reasonably sized gym or overnight bag and is hollow, so when packing you can stash other items inside the roller, or feed the strap of your sportsbag through it for easy carrying. I also really like the bright colourway and camo pattern, because it doesn't look like the typical roller you find at your gym.
