A Lovely Yarn....

Tags: yarn knit
At this house, that title can mean two things; I like the double entendre.
This time, it is literally referring to Yarn, and the things that have kept these hands busy.
Welllll..........that's a great idea, but I am left with MORE YARN. Yarn that I'm not sure where it is going. It's enough to keep but not enough for another hat.
Yes, some have stripes from like-yarn, but a lot were one shot wonders, so here I am with colorful leftovers. (at least there's no calories....)

I love grouping the hats and seeing the different textures in an abstract way~~beautiful. Fun how a basic pattern can look so different depending on the yarn, changing the knits and purls....it's a fun way to spend time.

I still have not made it down to Oncology due to being a bit under the weather (literally FROM this crazy weather!) but am sure they'll be well received when they get there. They're all lined up, ready to GO!
There is always a need.

While I was digging through the *trunk-o-yarn* I came upon some very expensive hand dye I bought almost two years ago.
Grinch colors.
I knit like a madwoman to get these done before the Holidays! Two pair at once on the circular needles....O--M--G!!! NEVER AGAIN. NEVER! EVER!
So DH and I both have *Grinchy-Claus* socks now. The photo is of mine.

I opted for the Latvian Band, and the heels of his are green.

So we could tell them apart.....other than he has his on all the time and I've left mine nice and neat on the sock forms. (yes, yes, way too anal...*sigh*)
The Evil Yarn People keep sending me e-mails of specials and sales and when I'm being a good girl --not often-- I delete those without even looking.
But then there are the ones from WEBS....and ooooooohhhhhhh........I just have to take a little tiny look......
I think I need therapy.
I think I need 4 extra hands to knit more, and learn to knit faster.
I think I need someone from "Hoarders" to come evaluate my stash........
(not really! seriously....NOT REALLY......)
