Hateruma (波照間島; Hateruma-jima; Yaeyama: Hatirooma Okinawan: Hatiruma) is an Island in the Yaeyama District of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. It has beautiful natural beaches with white sand and blue sea. Nishihama Beach is an hour away by boat from Ishigaki Island.
