Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty which we attended and adored. It traced the trace the 71-year history of the House of Dior, spanning 1947 to the present day. The exhibition leads you through the history and impact of one of the 20th century's most influential couturiers, exploring the enduring influence of the fashion house, and Dior's relationship with Britain.
In addition to displaying some of the house's most iconic and memorable gowns, the exhibition also highlights the breadth of creations that have come out of the fashion house over the years – and pays tribute to those who have collaborated with Dior. The entitled 'Diorama' section, showcases accessories from costume jewellery and hats to shoes, bags, archive lipstick and fragrance bottles.
It was another of our must do London Exhibitions at the V&A London and it truly lived up to our expectations. So we thought we would share a few images from the amazing show as a photo blog. Artists, Dandies and Rogues.
Now looking forward to September and the Tim Walker exhibition also at the V&A - Tickets already booked!
