Wave Race 64 Review

Wave Race 64 Review

After having discovered the wonder that is the N64 Emulator, I’ve continued to discover new games that I never had a chance to experience back when they came out. Wave Race 64 is definitely one of those games. The only time I had a chance to play this one was in the McDonalds Game Zone back when they had those. I’m sure that had I played this more as a kid, I would have definitely enjoyed it. A lot of great things in Wave Race 64; they keep it simple but it works so well. Check out all my thoughts here in this Wave Race 64 Review!

The water physics in Wave Race 64 are incredibly well done for a Nintendo 64 game. Your characters gets rocked by the waves just like they would in real life, and the surface of the water seems to employ the correct ripple effect for all waves. I really nice addition to the game and one that helps to elevate it to the next level.

Overall, Wave Race 64 is real fun to play. Either with friends or just trying to compete against the computer, Wave Race 64 is a fun game to go back and play even today.
