Through his search, he will find few human characters that will either attack him, run away, or dead.
At one point of his journey, the nameless boy will encounter a female character. However, he is forbidden to reach her. The forest will eventually give away to a crumbling and a bustling city environment. On the completion of the final puzzle of Limbo, the nameless boy will be thrown across a glass pane and back into the forest.
