So in the world of esports injuries are not the most common of events. The only prominent one being carpel tunnel syndrome which was a major contributing factor in the recent retirement of the previous TPA player Toyz
But in the case of Team Alternate's ad carry player Creaton, a more sudden injury will prevent him from gaming for at least a few weeks in the European LCS.

We're yet to see what this means for Team Alternate who are currently dominating the European LCS. Alternate are after the fourth week of games at 10 wins and only 4 losses. The importance of Creaton to this has been quite dramatic. As the leader in kills, KDA and gold per minute, Creaton has definitely been playing a major part in the wins his team have been getting in most their games. His consistently strong performances have shown him to be one of the best ad carries in Europe which is supported by the statistics.
The previous four weeks have shown Team Alternate to have five very good players, so we'll soon find out how much difference having a sub in the ad carry role will have on their performance. In the last week mid player Forellenlord was unable to be present for the LCS. Here they won only 1 game and lost 2, half of their total losses in one week.
With Creaton out of their roster for more than just one week of gaming, I'm unsure of Alternate's ability to keep their position at top. Gambit are snapping at their heels, being only 2 wins behind and appear to be improving each week. For the first time all summer split we may find Team Alternate pushed aside.
