I have a habit of eventually becoming bored with Early Access games (likely because the sense that anything can change for the better or worse at any time imparts a bitter impermanence to the experience), but Foxtail is a major exception. Since I got my hands on it 11 months ago, I’ve been eagerly lapping up every droplet of news about its subsequent chapters, and today developer Gingertips Game Studio announced that Foxtail‘s long-awaited second chapter is set to release on January 17th, 2019. The game is also 50% off until January 16th, bringing the price down to a ridiculous $3.49 USD. Early access games are always a risk, of course, but Foxtail is already something special, and the price is going to be raised with the release of Chapter 2. That means that now is the best time to buy if you have even a passing interest in pixel art or adventure games.

Foxtail isn’t on Humble Bundle or Amazon, so I don’t get any affiliate kickback from purchases. I’m linking to it below purely because I adore it.
