Another month, another Soul Calibur 6 character reveal. This one is particularly exciting, because not only is Taki a lot of fun, but like Zasalamel, she’s one of the characters who got cut out of Soul Calibur 5 for some reason. Every returning character makes the possibility of a Seong Mi-na or Xianghua reveal more likely.

Taki was my little brother’s character of choice, and his go-to strategy was to spam fast attacks until I had no choice but to start blocking them, then hit me with the grabs. It was totally cheap and annoying, and it’s nice to know that a new generation will be now able to inspire that same level of controller-throwing rage in their siblings.

Of course, Taki much more experience with the earlier games, but recording Soul Calibur 4 for these violence compilations is giving me more of a handle on Seong Mi-na’s newer move set.
