Clash Royale Balance Update 3/4 Analysis

Another month has gone by and with the birthday celebration going on, it's a good time to pick up Clash Royale again. With the changes below, looks like we're getting closer to a stage where things are more balanced throughout so it's a positive. Normally we've been seeing changes on the same cards every patch. This month, a smaller update than usual, which is a good thing.

Barbarians: Hitpoints -13%, Troop Count 4 -> 5
(This also affects the Hitpoints of Barbarians in the following cards; Battle Ram, Barbarian Hut, Barbarian Barrel)
Analysis: Barbarians were the very worst card in the game, with the lowest win percentage. There's just so many better alternatives than the Barbarians, and you are only hurting yourself, if you pick this card for whatever reason. Now the Hitpoints have been reduced on all Barbarian Cards (which hinders the other cards), but for the main Barbarians card, you're given a 5th Barbarian. I still think they will update this again next month. It's not the worst card in the game now, but it's still not good. With less hit points, any ranged unit has a better chance of taking these bad boys out.

Bomb Tower: Added Death Damage (deals 2x Area Damage)
Analysis: This just became a real option as a defensive tower. Having the death damage, means it adds an extra layer of defense and takes out any units that just destroyed it.

Wall Breakers: Hit Speed 1.5 -> 1.2
Analysis: These guys are OK. Generally if you're pressed to use them in a challenge or draft it works out, so in that case, this is wonderful. Otherwise...simply look to another card to put in your deck.

X-Bow: Hitpoints +4%
Analysis: People will go crazy over the X-Bow deck now. A small 4% increase means potentially a couple of more hits which favors players who use this.

Goblin Gang, Rascals, Bats, Barbarians: Added 0.15sec Deploy Time between Troops
Analysis: If you're trying to quickly defend or attack, then you're out of lock. A small delay will hinder your performance here.
