New Year - 2019

2018 was quite the year for me.

From starting this at the beginning to stopping, to continuing again, not knowing what I wanted this to be, the format, and a ton more. Even still, I'm still trying to come to a concrete plan on where to take this forward. Still, it is my thoughts and reflections of video games that I've played over the course of my life, generally the ones I've successfully completed. I try to avoid talking about a game that I did not complete because then I wouldn't get the complete picture. The only one I didn't complete is Eternal Sonata on the PS3, and I had my thoughts about that. Ideally, I would love to go back and finish games, but this one, in particular, I could not.

From a personal standpoint, it was probably the biggest and what led me to start this. There's a saying that somewhat goes, you don't know what you have until it's gone. It's not the exact quote but you know what it means and I went through that in full force. It was a rough year on a personal front but by the end of the year, I feel OK now. I feel I've let go of all of the hardships that I went through and it wasn't easy. I kept thinking what if, and it happened for months, but now I can say that the door is closed and I can move on which is great for me.

Moving forward, I'm still going to provide my analysis on Dota 2, Clash Royale, and Warcraft III. Those are the three games that I actively play and it's very enjoyable. Here and there I find time to squeeze in to play other Single Player games that I want to beat. Currently juggling Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, and Tales of Berseria. Both are lengthy RPGs which will keep being occupied. Once I beat those, I still have a ton of games lined up that I own to beat so I'll avoid buying any more until then. I held off on buying the Nintendo Switch just because of the time and way too many games I want to beat first. Maybe someday.

In any case, starting this blog, posting things on Twitter, is a bit of an outlet that I haven't had in a long time and I'll continue doing it. I'll be aiming to have more posts up now that the big problem I've been dealing with is now gone. Let's see where this goes.

Looking forward to 2019.
