Dev Log #18 and #19 – Nicole Harmon

This Week

I was sick last week and couldn’t work for a few days, so I’m catching up this week. I had a few tasks lying around like updates to documents. I had to do a one page GDD for the Rosett prototype, so I’ve been going back through that and fleshing it out more.

I’m also adding some more competitor games to the competitor analysis for Rosett. I’ve been looking at games such as Cookie Run Kingdom and World Flipper. For the most part, mobile gacha games are the best to compare Rosett to.

Next Week

I assume I’ll be working on the Politics worldbuilding document for Rosett next week. It was pushed off for a while and I haven’t heard if I’m supposed to be doing it yet, but as I’m almost out of things to do I think this will become part of my work again.

Hopefully I also get some other stuff assigned. I would love more writing or project management assignments. I’d also be happy to keep doing more for the competitor analysis, but at this point it does have several games and seems pretty done.

Stardew Valley Soundtrack

I haven’t had a chance to play Stardew in a long time, but I really do miss playing it. It seems overwhelming to relaunch it and return to my existing world, as I’ve already forgotten my routines. However, I’m sure I’ll get around to it one of these days.

In the meantime, I wanted to highlight the music of the game, as there’s tons of songs for different areas and events. I don’t tend to listen to game soundtracks outside of the games, Stardew included, but I do enjoy its music anyway.
