Back in spring 2016, a revolution took place. The Gaming Chair market was changed forever when noblechairs joined the party. I’ll be honest, it takes a lot to impress me. I’m not easy to please, I’ve reviewed hundreds of chairs, however, with noblechairs I’ve been impressed. I find it hard to be critical.

The quality is just outstanding. They’ve managed to offer top levels of luxury at an affordable price. The designs have a certain flair, it’s easy to tell a noblechairs, their image is to give a sense of power and royalty. Made in Germany, they’re one of a few brands that actually have a gaming chair that’s branched into other markets, rather than the other way round.

Are noblechairs really worth the hype?

I’ve gone out on a limb and given noblechairs my platinum level review score. To date, they are the only brand that’s achieved this lofty status. That’s how highly I rate them. Truth be told, I have yet to see that kind of quality in any other chair. On top of that, their customer service is first class. It’s one of those exceptions to the rule where you are as pleased with the purchase 12 months down the line as you are on the day it arrives.

A massive positive is the soft pillows, introduced by noblechairs. I really appreciate how they mold to the shape of the body, and they don’t get cold. The covering, made from synthetic leather, is breathable, which is important when gaming for extended periods, the ultra thick 1.5mm thickness adding to the comfort of the chair.

The precision during production equates to a flawless look, devoid of wrinkles. With my extensive experience of chairs, I can say with certainty there is no rival right now, no other brand that offers this level of look and comfort. Who is noblechairs for?

You can’t cut corners with gaming chairs. You genuinely get what you pay for. But having said that, if you are the type of person who wants the best, then you want noblechairs. If you want the very finest materials, the best manufacturing standards, and excellent customer support then you want noblechairs. You certainly won’t need to lower your expectations when it comes to design and elegance either.

Who won’t like these chairs?

As with all designs, it’s subjective. If you don’t like the design, you’re not going to like seeing the chair sat in your room no matter how well made it is. At the same time, it’s not the cheapest chair on the market. Not expensive, and definitely worthy of the investment but still, if it’s over your budget you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Recommended alternatives

I don’t see noblechairs having any rival. Not as an overall package. But if you don’t like this particular design then I would suggest having a look at DXRacer, AKRacing or Vertagear. Some of these brands have hardcore gaming chairs, all with different designs. If cash is the problem then for $250 or less you might want to pick out GT Omega or Nitro.

What sets noblechairs apart from other chairs?

For all the positive adjectives I can use about noble chairs, ultimately, what makes them stand out from their competitors is their philosophy. Their ambition to push boundaries and their attention to detail is unrivaled. They keep their range simple, they don’t flood the market with unnecessary variations to squeeze every dollar out of their massive fan base. They keep it simple, and they keep it excellent.

Having been around the world of gaming chairs for a while, and having reviewed hundreds of chairs, what really impresses me most about noblechairs is their level of customer support. The latest offering from noblechairs, the EPIC range was released back in 2016 and is optimized for comfort, especially for the average sized user. It has both a real leather and a PU-leather version and comes in several amazing designs and styles.

You can really tell the noblechairs design team really did their homework with their EPIC range. Not just in terms of quality and precision but in their design choices. They’ve listened to the feedback of other customers and flattened out the sides and backrests which sometimes made the sitter feel a little cramped. The change is perfect for serious gamers and for those gamers who are a little larger and can appreciate the extra space.

Having done extensive research, I’d recommend this chair for users who are between 1.65m and 1.95m in height and ideally, below 120 kilos. As you’ll be able to see, there are a number of incredible designs and styles that embrace colors such as gold, brown, black or white with vibrant colors like blue, green, red and even pink used for trim.

You won’t find any other gaming chair manufacturer that is able to boast the same quality levels in terms of production and attention to detail. Setting new standards with the New noblechairs: ICON

This is an exciting series of gaming chairs, especially for the taller, bigger gamers.

They took the time to release this latest edition, and it shows. They really focused on making significant improvements to the design, functionality, and innovativeness which was difficult because previous models are just so good. The best gaming chairs just got better.

Exactly how is it better? For a start, the overall shape has been improved upon, with a slight move away from a racing car shape to more of a throne shape, subtle but even with such a subtle shift, the results are significant. Additionally, padding on the headrest has the added benefit of making the neck padding almost redundant.

The seating area of the chair has seen some minor upgrades. A steel strut, located on side boulders has been removed and the results are a more comfortable experience with less stress put on the incumbent’s thighs. The seating area is also a little flatter which makes it more comfortable for heavier or bigger gamers.

Aesthetically, the metal elements of the armrest have been powder coated with a black coloring that adds to the overall look of the chairs, the PU-leather versions have seen their armrests given a polished appearance which looks more elegant and also feels more comfortable.

With a newly designed, more solid aluminum base, the range is now equally comfortable and durable at seating up to a staggering 150 kilograms. That’s 20-30 kilos more than their competitors and the go-to chair for larger gamers.
