Disney's first black princess has been serving looks since appearing in her 2009 film, The Princess and the Frog, and her 3D counterpart in Ralph Breaks The Internet is quite sexy. While every Disney princess looks stunning in Wreck-It Ralph 2, we can't help but stan Tiana and her adorable features.
Transitioning from 2D to 3D animation can be a hit or miss depending on the art style, and in Tiana's case her transformation has been quite interesting. She initially appeared racially ambiguous in the second promotional trailer. Though after receiving backlash from peeved fans online, Disney Pixar gave us the Tiana we rightfully deserved and now we adore her.
Tiana was already gorgeous in The Princess and The Frog and her recent depiction in Wreck It Ralph 2 is super cute. Not only because of the way she looks but also her energetic carefree attitude, goofy facial expressions and general down to earth vibe she radiates.
Even among the most prestigious Disney Princesses, Tiana manages to shine bright as a star and she doesn't need long flowing hair, the cutest dress nor brightest lipstick to pull it off. There's plenty of pretty girls in Wreck-It Ralph 2. There is, however, only one Tiana and she's absolutely dreamy in three dimension.
Tiana's complexion pops as the soft volumetric lighting hits her gorgeous brown skin, might we add, one of her strongest traits which we can't stop obsessing over. Tiana is as comfortable in her own skin as the other princesses. Just watch her silly expressions and it's easy to see that she's not worried about how people perceive her.
Beyond her skin tone, Tiana's large brown eyes, broad nose, full lips and fancy hairdo make our heart literally skip a beat. Yes, Tiana is undeniably beautiful in Wreck-It Ralph 2 and it's thanks to the dozens of people on social media who voiced their displeasure about her drastic change, because without them the Tiana we know and love would cease to exist.
For a second can we go back to Tiana's lips. They're remarkably cute and it's one of the first we things we noticed about her besides the eyes. Wine lipstick is definitely a winning colour on Tiana, because it's subtle and the results show for themselves when she cheeses for the camera.
Since her arrival on the scene, Tiana has always looked flawless in whatever outfit she's wearing and this doesn't change in Wreck-It Ralph 2. The New Orleans native looks luscious in her iconic lily pad strapless ball gown. Not to forget the gold earrings, green opera gloves and light blue diamond necklace around her slender neck.
The computer animated film goes one step further in giving each Disney Princess casual new clothes to lounge in, doing away with their gowns and instead opting for more comfy wear. One problem is everyone is 'relaxing' in shoes. If they didn't want want the girls revealing their feet, they could've at least given each princess fluffy slippers or socks to wear instead.
Regardless our girl Tiana looks extra cute in her square-necked pyjama set and brown ankle laced boots as she kicks back and slurps down a creamy frappuccino with her hair down. Every girl needs a casual outfit in their wardrobe and Tiana is no exception.
Tiana took the world by storm in 2009 and ever since then she has been serving looks no matter the occasion and Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is no different. We can't stress enough how good she looks, but at this point we're beating a dead horse.
