Today when I was out to get something to eat, I passed a small group of people holding a Demo against a forest company that has a bad reputation. They cut down old forests. I’m not sure who the protesters were but if it hadn’t been so cold and this city isn’t my home I would have liked to stop and help them somehow. I thanked one of the protesters and she was really nice.

On my way past there again a little later a sort of guard told me I had to cross to the other side of the street ’because of the snow’. Clearly a lie. A little later the brave few protesters packed up smd left, looking discouraged but not beaten. It’s dreadful how the company or the city managed to make sure that as few as possible saw the demo. I wish I’d been able to take a photo.
