   When Andy Warhol’s commissioned drawing, appeared in Glamour Magazine (in September 1949) alongside an essay series called, “What is Success?”  the “a” at the end of “Warhola” was left off…Was it a mistake by the magazine?  Or a deliberate creative move by the artist ?….It’s unclear, but it stuck.  And the rest (as they say) is history….

(I, Renee Ashley Baker, danced “en pointe” at the age of 9 and I, Renee Ashley Baker, was born at Barnes Jewish Hospital…the rich Jewish Hospital in St. Louis…).

TO RACHEL RAY (WHO IS NOT–NOT– A “REAL” –A “GENUINE”–CHEF….)

RE:  MILADY (THE ONE AND “ONLY” MOTHER….)

   The photo above (of Lady Irma/Erma) was taken in St. Louis Missouri in the 1950’s.  In the photo above, Lady Irma/Erma is wearing a silk blouse (very French style) and wearing real (genuine) 24kt gold rings and a real (genuine) diamond pendant which, I believe was purchased at  ZALES  Jewelers in St. Louis Missouri.  (It’s not that “10 kt” thug “jail junk” from Jacob…)

2.  By the Way, my Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) couldn’t stand Italians….but…she loved Jews. Denver has decided that it’s Italy (!!!) so, I Renee Ashley Baker, will be “hating” Italians too I guess.  

3. My Mother Lady Irma/Erma had (gave birth to) three children (my brother James served 28 years in the U.S. Air Force and my brother James also “fought” in Vietnam….).  My Mother (Lady/Irma) had in her bank account $261,000(Quarter of a million dollars!!!).  My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) would brunch every Sunday at the Brown Palace Hotel (in Denver Colorado).

4.  My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) was a U.S. Air Force Mother (and a U.S. Army Wife).  My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) was also an Earstern Star because my Father–Mr. Ashley–was a “Mason”.  My Father–Mr. Ashley–had a Mother who was of “Welsh descent” and I will call her, my grandmother, “Lady Harris” (who I, Renee Ashley Baker, never knew because she died when I was a little girl.)  My fathers family (Mr. Ashley’s family) owned lots of land (in the South) and when that land was sold my father’s brothers and sisters all bought houses in the St. Louis suburb of “Kinloch”.  My father’s brothers were also U.S. Army men and “Masons”.  (My father –Mr. Ashley–was tall (6′ 2″) and he was handsome –he looked like Howard Hughes).

 5.  Before I, Renee Ashley Baker, was born My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) was, as they say, a “dressing woman”.  Meaning that my Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) was a “fashion plate” who always looked like she’d just stepped out of the pages of “Vogue Magazine” although, my Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) had probably never even seen an issue of “Vogue Magazine”.  (In other words my Mother, Lady Irma/Erma, was the “opposite” of “half fat, non-elegant, Rachel Ray.  And My Mother Lady Irma/Erma could get into –“and shop at”– stores in St. Louis Missouri that Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King still “can’t get into or shop at” !!!  My Mother Lady Irma/Erma “shopped at” the St. Louis department stores Stix Baer & Fuller and Famous Barr….).

6.  So, my Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) was a “St. Louis Woman” (and not a “Mississippi Woman” as my Mother Lady Irma/Erma married, when she was “15 years old” and moved, with her “first husband”, to St. Louis Missouri.  My Mother’s “first husband” eventually got hired on a “defense job” in California; meaning that he–my Mother’s first husband– worked for “the Pentagon”).

7.  My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) owned and ran what you’d call a “bourgoisie household”.  (The exact opposite of “DUFF” aka Mountain Girl Rachel Ray.).  Meaning–that everything in my Mother–Lady Irma/Erma’s houses– came from the St. Louis department stores Stix Baer & Fuller and Famous Barr.   Meaning– My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) bought and paid for her things HERSELF.  My father–Mr. Ashley–may have paid for a lot of the early 1950’s and 1960’s household furnishings. But,  My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) bought/owned (by herself) her dishes, her”sterling silver flatware”, her “sterling silver tea service”, her “serving” –her turkey–platter, and her “warming trays” (which, had the tiny “tea candles” underneath that you had to light to keep the food warm. And, such a platter was on my Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) “Thanksgiving table” on November 24, 1963 (and also on my Mother Lady Irma/Erma’s table in 1962, 1961, 1960, etc etc etc).  

News: There is one item –in particular–that was in Lady Irma/Erma kitchen in November 1963 and was also in the “TV kitchen” of Gracie Allen (meaning on the “Burns and Allen Show”).  Can you figure out what that “one item” was ????

8.  There were some things, however, that were purchased (for my Mother Lady Irma/Erma)  by my sister (Miss M) and my brother (James).  Things  which came from “overseas” (things that came from Greenland, Germany, Holland, China –chinese porcelain figurines–and from Japan–my mother Lady Irma/Erma had a beautiful “hand painted” lacqured “jewelry box”.   This jewelry box held the jewelry you see in the photo above and other jewelry belonging to my Mother Lady Irma/Erma such as –a “mikimoto pearl ring and earrings” from Japan, a real (genuine) “diamond and ruby necklace” which probably came from Zales in St. Louis,  and a “secret society” Eastern Star ring….

9.  Now, (Mountain Girl pay attention so you can “get the story right”):

   My Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) and my Father (Mr. Ashley) bought and paid for their own clothing, furniture, food and cars.  (My daddy/my father (Mr. Ashley) loved and drove “new cars”.  Mr Ashley–my “daddy” as I always called him–was a “Buick” man.

 News:  My father/daddy–Mr. Ashley–had something in common with both Howard Hughes and with the “founder” of the Kelloggs Food Company in Battlecreek Michigan.  Can you figure out what that “in common” was ?????

10.   And know this (Rachel) that my Mother (Lady Irma/Erma) owned and wore a real (genuine) full length “leopard skin coat” (in 1963) while first lady Jackie Kennedy owned and wore the  faux “replica”….

11.  No to that “Black Hollywood” because it’s a “Minstrel Show of Inferiority”.   Also “NO” to “White Hollywood” until, UNTIL– it stops “promoting faces” that are not, NOT  worth “6 seconds” of a director’s “camera tight shot”. (Also no to “White Hollywood” because it  has become “broke fodder” for “untalented women” trying to push “their” CRAP JUNK over the MEN who rule the “movie industry”.  By the way, Cowtown/Broke/Denver has taken to calling showbusiness “the entertainment industry”.   I guess because these “no cultured” bunch of broke, third string “Denver/Juarez/Mexican/Crip/Organized Crime/Trash” can’t bring itself to say the word “Cinema”.

1.  I, Renee Ashley Baker, don’t know why but Denver, today, is back trying to get Donald Trump “indicted” by a Federal Grand Jury.  I, Renee Ashley Baker, have already said “No” to Denver’s Donald Trump “film projects”.  Donald Trump is not, NOT going to finance Renee Ashley Baker (and Renee Ashley Baker is not, NOT going to be an “Indie Film Maker”.  I, Renee Ashley Baker already said “Disney Corp” for an exclusive deal in 3-5 years that will pay me, Renee Ashley Baker $50 million dollars a year for 20 years. For the umpteenth time, I, Renee Ashley Baker, will not be “in business” with Donald Trump. If, I, Renee Ashley Baker, have to “file a complaint against Donald Trump” with the U. S. Justice Department (like I did naming CBS Network), Donald Trump’s “campaign” will be over. Over because Donald Trump will have to “disclose” my complaint to the American Public.  Denver is still trying to have/use/run Donald Trump (!!!)  Also, remember, I, Renee Ashley Baker, am “50 United Nations Plaza” not, NOT “Trump Towers”.  Because of Denver, I, Renee Ashley Baker, won’t be going to “Trump Towers” not even to get my “eyebrows” done (!!!)

2.  Denver is trying to have/own/use/sell Renee Ashley Baker’s game shows.  Renee Ashley Baker’s “game shows” belong to CP Irrevocable Trust and neither of these “game shows” is for sale at this time.  Denver is trying to “coerce” me to give/sell NBC Network “You Pin Face”.  No, No, No.  Universal/NBC Network cannot buy “You Pin Face”. (I, Renee Ashley Baker, have decided that “You Pin Face” will not, NOT be produced, nor broadcast.  I, am taking “You Pin Face” off the slate….permanently.)

3.  Still “NO” to Aretha Franklin.  No toOWN Network, No to Oprah Winfrey, No to Gayle King, No to their “tacky red botoms”.  No to Revlon (it’s sold in drug stores and I, Renee Ashley Baker, am keeping Chanel and Chanel Cosmetics).  Also still “NO” to Mandalay Productions.  And still “NO” to “eating” or “meeting” at John Elway’s “CAPO Hash House”.  John Elway needs to pay that money back that he a bunch of retired “pensioners” lost all because John Elway “fronted a crooked deal”.
