We still have a quiet week about who's going to play Harvey Dent. But, from gathering bit by bit of information posted by Jett from Batman-On-Film, I have my own choice.
Though I doubt that Jett himself knows who's being targeted by Nolan, he wrote a few hints that he got from his "reliable sources":
- They "aiming high". In other words, they will likely cast a big name.
- Think Oscar winner
- Unconventional
Other considerations is that it's not Tom Cruise, not too old, and not crowded with film projects.
OK. Here's my choice for Dent:
George Clooney
Let's take a look. He's obviously not Tom Cruise, and he is not too old (he's 45). He is a fine actor and got the look to be a flamboyant District Attorney. He is a big actor in Hollywood now and has won an Oscar for Syriana as Best Actor in Supporting Role.
And, he's definitely an unconventional choice. Who even thought that a former Batman will become Harvey Dent? It's like the rumor that Michael Keaton will cast as Joker. Totally unconventional.
Plus, according to IMDB, he only got one project in pre-production in the next two years.
He's my top choice for Dent now according to those hints by Jett.
