Big Mom is one of the most powerful individual characters in One Piece. We all want to know what kind of power she possesses to achieve her position now as an emperor. She is also one of the most feared woman pirate, Minister of the Left has said that Charlotte Linlin also known as Big Mom can destroy a country over sweets! That is just truly terrifying. So, let's check the revelation about Big Mom's power.


Charlotte Linlin, also called Big Mom, is the infamous and powerful captain of her crew and affiliates, and also the sole female among the four emperors of the New World. She rules the Charlotte Family as its matriarch,  consisting of herself, her 39 daughters, 45 sons, husbands, plus the unknown number of her grandchildren. She is the leader of Totto Land and referred as the queen Whole Cake island which is part of the Totto Land, Fishman Island, and more territories where she is allegedly trying to make it into associate degree utopia wherever all the world's ethnicity move to be treated just and fair, where there is no discrimination like what is happening in most places like for example the Sabaody Archipelago.

How powerful is she?

- The Gorosei, the Five Elder Stars, said that Big Mom is one of few that is capable of defeating Blackbeard and his crew.

- Her intel is out of this world. Information is a very powerful as she can manipulate or blackmail most people. Sanji became a docile sheep when he was told about his family and Big Mom's political agreements.

- Big Mom's physical strength is comparable to giants, she can throw punches with immense power that can really destroy a whole country. Also, it has been seen that she produces acid like saliva when she ate people.

Big Mom's Devil Fruit the Soul - Soul Fruit

Big Mom has eaten Soul - Soul Fruit, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that enables her tomanipulate the soul of whomever she touches into tangible substance. She can take away lifespan of a person it can be whole or in part. She takes away the lifespans of the citizens of the Totto Land as their tribute.

Big Mom can also implant the souls she has gathered into non living things. She can give life to these non - living things and it is called Homies. She can also split her soul to gather souls which are called Incarnations, this means that her souls or incarnations can also somewhat use the ability to manipulate souls.

There is a limitation that has been said by one her husband, surprisingly the father of Lola from Thriller Bark, Big Mom cannot put souls into living creatures as well as corpse to bring them back alive. This power is somewhat similar to the Shadow - Shadow fruit of Gecko Moria. Moria can manipulate shadows just like how Big Mom deals with souls. Also, both their powers can create life forms like Homies for Big Mom and Zombies for Moria.
