When I moved from Miami, I thought my days of going to concerts and hearing Latino acts were done. So when I got the call and heard Premios Juventud was hitting the road with a special concert series heading to Los Angeles AND that I was invited, I couldn't type "yes" and "thank you" fast enough.

This special project involved me visiting my local Walmart and Buying Products that would help me turn up the volume on my look. So what products did I pick up? As you can see from the photo above, I had a lot of fun with my TRESemmé products and my go-to Body Wash from Dove.

TRESemmé Botanique Nourish & Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner:

TRESemmé is one of those brands that has been on heavy rotation in my household since I was younger. So when I saw they had an "Expert Selection" line featuring no dyes, no silicones and no parabens, I knew this duo would help get my hair shiny and bouncy. I do not like buying products that are full of the extra stuff that can be bad for your hair.

Also, the conditioner left me tangle-free! I normally add an oil to my hair after using shampoo and conditioner but this time I didn't have to.

PLUS: The featured ingredients, coconut milk, aloe vera, and macadamia oil, are all ones I stand by and look for in other products.

DOUBLE PLUS: They smell amazing! My hair gobbled up the subtle and sweet fragrance. This will be awesome for later when I'm dancing and sweating!

I just told you I plan to jump around and dance all night. It is a concert after all! When I trust a brand I stick to it, so I purchased TRESemmé's hairspray as well. I found out earlier this week that I will partake in a meet-and-greet with the talent performing! How exciting, right? So you know what that means right? SELFIE TIME! 

I need a hairspray that was going to keep my 'do looking fly but not sticky. No one wants to hug a girl with helmet hair.

When I get the chance to work on these types of projects, I love trying out new things. But I really cannot live without my Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash. I suffered from dry skin before moving to Los Angeles and now it's even worse. So I live for products that give me extra moisture. 

I pour the Body wash onto my pouf and POOF! My dry skin is gone. I truly live for this product and I think I'll wait awhile before deciding to swap it out for something new. 

Dove promises, "Softer, smoother skin after one shower" and it was true for me.
