Steven Spielberg has cast Hannah John-Kamen in his upcoming adaptation of Ernest Cline’s Ready Player ONE.
John-Kamen has enjoyed high-profile roles recently in the likes of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS and GAME OF THRONES yet it’s not known what role she’ll play here. READY PLAYER ONE follow young Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan), a boy who escapes reality by entering the Oasis, a sort of sanctuary for him because it offers a Second Life virtual world. When the creator of the Oasis, James Halliday (Mark Rylance), dies, he leaves his fortune to the first player who can find it within the Oasis. Thus begins a hunt that leads Wade through 80s pop-culture references and battling tough competition as others try to find the loot first for their interests.
