The franchise that doesn’t ever want to end is still going, with Michael Bay still at the helm. TRANSFORMERS is coming for a fifth instalment, and still just not going with the number routine, they’ve opted to title this one TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT.

Bay has managed to somehow direct the previous four films and is returning yet again for the fifth, this time with more cars, more TRANSFORMERS and yet again more explosions all over the place. Mark Wahlberg is set to return as the human character for the film, helping out as best he can with the TRASNFORMERS.
The last film featured Dinobots in the trailer, however they actually showed up for the last five minutes of the film. This time Wahlberg has revealed that we won’t just be seeing the return of the Dinobots, but also the mini-Dinobots also showing up in the sequel:
“It’s a cool new story,” Wahlberg said. “It’s kind of like a man on the run. Sir Anthony Hopkins is also in the film, got a cool new cast and cool new robots, some cool new villains and some cool new Dinobots. I think you guys are gonna really go crazy for the mini Dinobots.”
Is it to sell more toys? Absolutely. Will it look cool, well maybe. At this point I’m done with the TRANSFORMERS franchise. I mean, I may watch it in say a year after it’s released just like I did with the last one, but even that one I couldn’t name a single scene from it.
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT is currently shooing with a release date of June 23, 2017.
