The Telugu film industry Bandh which is slated for 19 March is called off as the government has given assurance about taking stringent actions against pirate. MAA president Muralimohan confirmed the same. J Geeta Reddy, Minister for Cinematography said that they will incorporate a separate cell for anti Piracy and all video renting places will be regularized with license to track the piracy and eliminate it. Meanwhile, Yalamanchili Ravichandar who took fast unto death against piracy has called it off as he is satisfied with the Government response to it.
