Vadra’s hand with its fleshiness, headline type, slightly bent ring finger and the shape of the finger phalanges points to a liking for wealth. As a distinct impressionability is also shown, he is likely to get carried away by an aura around a person. These qualities do not make him a bad person but it does explain why he was drawn to Priyanka. In an Outlook article Priyanka has claimed her husband does not get carried away by anything, but it is difficult to believe that
Priyanka is not aware of his impressionability.

Vadra’s hand shows him to be a person who understands money. He may be just an average Joe in most ways (his hand confirms that he is an ordinary man in intellect) but not where money is concerned. He has an acute sense of how to handle money and yes, his hand shows that he is not entirely straightforward. It is not surprising that he was able to use Priyanka’s contacts profitably.

There is a side to him which is not very palatable. His thumb shows him to be not just strong willed but a bully, to the extent of being obnoxious. A pushy person who will not see reason, a person who will railroad his way to get his will done. When Robert Vadra wants something, he goes all out to get it. It is unlikely that Priyanka Gandhi would be able to control him. This explains why he lost all sense of proportion when he started to exploit his proximity to the Gandhi family (reportedly). This extreme wilful nature combined with his high self esteem (despite the shyness) and the desire for wealth would make him quite unstoppable.

What this also tells us is that he lacks true business talent. A good businessman takes calculated chances. A good businessman is not unreasonable. If he was he would never make a dime! It is quite clear that Vadra would never have made money without the contacts he gained by his marriage to Priyanka Gandhi.

So that brings us to be the question, what did Priyanka see in him? After all, he was not a rich and famous person, like she is. My reading is that Vadra can be a charmer, and as a person who is bent on getting his way he must have gone all out to get her. He would have pulled out all the stops. His high confidence levels are also something she would have found attractive. Not many men would have been able to be hold their own in front of her. Specially those men who had not achieved (yet) much in life. And it is not as if she had a long line of suitors. If she did, it is a well hidden secret.
