Today Warner Brothers has officially announced the Batman HD collection that was heavily rumored for some time. Batman: Return to Arkham will be released on July 26th for PS4 and Xbox One for $50 here in the US and €49.99/£39.99 in Europe.

Both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City have been remastered using Unreal Engine 4 by developer Virtuos. No we have not heard about these guys before either but appearently they have worked on a huge amount of ports – check out the full list here. Sadly Arkham Origins is not part of the list.

The Batman: Arkham titles will be including all Game of the Year edition bonus and downloadable content from both games, now with improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders.
