When Deep Silver announced the Dead Island collection that will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, there was a previously unannounced game in the package. Today we get our first look at Dead Island Retro Revenge.

It is being billed as a “16-bit side-scrolling action game” that puts you in charge of Max. Zombies have taken Max’s cat and car, and he must chase them down and eliminate them to get his possessions back.

Check out the first footage of the game below. We don’t know for sure yet if the game will be available as a stand alone download, or if you can only get it in the Dead Island collection.
