Actress Melinda Williams (Byrd from Soul Food) was married to former rapper & celebrity DJ Derrick "D Nice" Jones on Saturday August 23. The lavish ceremony was performed at the Mezzanine in New Jersey. The bridal party of 13 included her family & close friends which included two of her Soul Food cast mates Nicole Ari Parker, and Vanessa Williams. In followup news, K-Ci of R&B singing group Jodeci says that his brother fell out on stage due to epilepsy, and exhaustion. He says that they had taken a 20 hour flight and went directly on stage and that he knew his brother would get sick. He says that JoJo actually had a seizure prior to the flight but that they did not want to cancel the Sydney concert. Does he think that we are all on drugs along with them? He is the one who gave it all away by continuing to perform as if that episode was a regular occurrence and deserved no extra attention. Even with regular seizures you still check on the person once you see them go down. It doesn't even matter at this point, I am more interested in hearing what JoJo's physician has to say...if they even took him to the hospital.

Looks like Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have called of their engagement. Again. We should have known if they hadn't tied the knot yet that they weren't gonna. He has had that milk for many years now, and it just doesn't make any sense to pay for it at this point. Bolton had no comment. At least she will be on the upcoming season of Desperate Housewives. It was rumored that she was given the axe!

Speaking of Desperate Housewives...People are complaining that we have heard so much about the new season of Desperate Housewives and how the story line will take place several years from where it left off, yet in promos, they all look the same. Unreal. I am looking forward to the return and am sick of speculating on what is going to happen. Let's just get to the good stuff. Shauna Sand has reached a new level of skanky when she pranced on a Miami Beach with her children in this "getup". I understand almost all of it but she lost me with the shoes. What skill it must take to navigate the lumps and bumps in the sand in order to make it to the shoreline. I am a shorter girl myself, and I love my heels, but this is just crazy. I don't even feel inclined to believe it's a height issue. Its more like, how can I brand myself to be a skank? Oh, I know! Let 4 inch spiked, clear stripper shoes be my trademark! And this is probably normal for the kids.
