I have a 2008 can am ds450 and I have taken out the engine a few times to work on it and disconnecting the Starter from the wires is a part of that process. One of the times I put the engine back in to try and start it up, I get a big spark from the positive wire. Then all I would get is a click from the starter solenoid but nothing would happen but a little bit of smoking. I tested the starter and it was good.
