Louis Tomlinson Breaks Silence on Sister's Tragic Death

Louis Tomlinson has opened up for the first time since losing his beloved sister, Félicité.

As previously reported, the 18-year old collapsed suddenly in mid-March and died of an apparent heart attack.

The former One Direction member did not speak up initially after his sibling passed away, with sources saying the singer was simply inconsolable over this shocking and sad development.

On Wednesday morning, however, about a month after this family tragedy, Tomlinson wrote a message on Twitter that reads as follows:

"Just wanted to thank everyone for their lovely words over the past couple of weeks. Back in the studio today to vocal something I wrote a few months ago. Sending you all loads of love x."

Félicité made her living as a model and social media influencer.

She died of a suspected heart attack at her apartment in London on March 13.

The Metropolitan Police Service told E! News that local authorities were called by London Ambulance Service to a residential address following reports of a female in cardiac arrest.

By the time paramedics arrived, however, it was too late -- Félicité was announced dead at the scene.

Her final Instagram post featured a photo with her brother and sisters Lottie, 20, and twins Daisy and Phoebe, 14. It was shared in December of 2018.

“Family,” she captioned the snapshot, along with a heart emoji.

By all accounts, Louis was very close to his late sister.

The loved ones would hang out any time the artist was in London.

Félicité's death also came just over two years after her and Louis' mom, Johannah Deakin, passed away after a lengthy battle with leukemia.

In early March, just before losing his sister, the 27-year-old One Direction star released an emotional new track about his mother's death titled "Two of Us.

"You'll never know how much I miss you/The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead," Tomlinson sings on the track, adding:

"But you once told me don't give up/You can do it day by day/And diamonds they don't turn to dust or fade away."

Just so sad all around.

“Johannah was first and foremost a truly amazing mother to seven children, whose individual talents and success are testament to the principles and beliefs she instilled in them,” her husband, Dan Deakin, told Us Weekly in a statement shortly after his wife died.

As for Félicité, her passing prompted an outpouring of love and support for the Tomlinson family from various celebrities around the world.

"Such incredibly sad news today," James Corden Tweeted last month. "You're not on your own in this @Louis_Tomlinson So many people are pulling for you and your family right now x."

"Prayers to Louis Tomlinson," Charlie Puth echoed. "I can't imagine how hard it is right now. Love to you brother I'm so sorry and my prayers are with you."

We continue to keep the singer and his relatives in our thoughts.
