Last week, the world of Teen Mom Twitter was abuzz with rumors that Farrah Abraham is pregnant with her second child.

Shortly thereafter, reports of Farrah getting engaged to Simon Saran began to make their way around social media.

Obviously, those rumors helped to fan the flames of the pregnancy speculation, and before the weekend was out, fans were basically sending Farrah name suggestions and prenatal nutrition tips on Twitter.

But now, it looks like Farrah's neither pregnant nor engaged.

In fact, it looks as though she's not even dating Simon.

In fact, Farrah will be dating fans in a new U.K. reality show that sounds like the worst thing to hit television since that show where Jennifer Love Hewitt talked to ghosts.

So how did the rumor spread so far, so quickly?

Well, part of the problem is that Simon appears to be loving all the attention:

Last week, he responded to the engagement rumors with a coy winking smiley face, and today, he posted this photo of Farrah at a friend's birthday party.

Look, we don't want to get into any sort of body-shaming here, but it's not hard to see how some fans thought they might be looking at a baby bump here.

There could be a number of things going on here other than a pregnancy, of course.

It's a party, after all.

Maybe Farrah just hit the burrito bar, or hell, maybe that's just how she's shaped.

The only reason we're talking about the pic at all is because it caused Teen Mom fans to ramp the pregnancy speculation up to 11.

“You can deny it all you want but that is definitely a baby bump,” wrote one user.

“Totally a baby bump! Congratulations!” commented another.

For once, Simon didn't just sit back and watch his notifications pile up.

Instead, he took to Twitter to set the record straight, tweeting simply:

"No she's not pregnant!"

Well, good. That should clear everything up, and we probably won't hear anymore about Farrah being pregnant.

Ha! Just kidding!

The online chatter will continue until Farrah realizes how much attention she'd get from actually being knocked up and decides to get pregnant.
