That incredibly corny pun is our way of saying the hosts of MSNBC's Morning Joe just shared some surprising news with fans:

According to Page Six, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are engaged!

Yes, Joe and Mika are much more than just co-hosts and fellow Donald Trump enemy list items.

They're a real life Couple, and they've apparently decided to take the next step together:

“Joe got down on one knee and proposed old-fashioned-style with a ring. Of course, Mika accepted. They came back from the trip on Cloud Nine,” says a source close to the couple.

“There are no wedding plans as of yet, they are just telling their families the happy news.”

The couple has now officially and publicly confirmed that they're planning to get hitched.

The first rumors of Joe and Mika dating came out last summer, and apparently they've been moving at breakneck speed.

Scarborough reportedly popped the question during a recent vacation to celebrate Brzezinski's fiftieth birthday:

The couple traveled a lot of Scarborough miles (last lame pun, we swear) in order to find the perfect place for Joe to pop the question.

According to Page Six, Joe and Mika traveled through the South of France and Monaco in celebration of Mika hitting the big 5-0.

It was in Antibes, at the famously picturesque Bar Bellini where Joe capped off the trip by putting a ring on it.

“Mika turned 50 and realized she wanted to move forward with her life and spend every minute with Joe, and not just at work," says the source.

As for Joe, insiders say Mika recently helped him through a rough patch, and he realized he wants her on his team for life:

“He’s had a rough few years with his divorce and the passing of his father, but he’s been the happiest he’s ever been these last few months with Mika.” 

“We have a crackling on-air chemistry, and a crackling off-air chemistry, too," Joe recently told The Hollywood Reporter of his relationship with Mika.

Congrats, you crazy kids.
