I thought I'd hate it. I'm actually too old to like it. Or too old to Admit that I like it. I may not even be attractive enough to like it, but I do. I admit it...The CW's "Gossip Girls" is great. It's like a Dairy Queen blizzard (you can take the girl out of Texas but not the Texas out of the girl) or a great pair of shoes you can't afford but plan on buying. The cast is so remarkably beautiful, it makes you want to work out or invest in plastic surgery. New York has never looked better or been more realistic. Wunderkind Josh Schwartz captured Orange County so well in "The OC" and now he's taken his skills to the posh and elegant world of Manhattan's super rich and overpriviledged teens. How I love it. The sex, the drugs, the underage drinking and teenage infatuations. It's got me hooked. Let's see if the rest of the show lives up to the really really tasty pilot.
