While 80% of the voters think Justin Hartley is an excellent actor. He played and fit the character of Adam Newman very well. The fact is Michael Munhey was forced to leave the show. And, because of that, I would say Justine Harley proved to be an excellent replacement for Michael Munhey. 

Only 20% of voters think overall he is a great actor on Young and the Restless and This is us. I don't know why people think he isn't good. Sure we all loved MM as Adam but I think Justin did a good job for being Adam. I give Justin a 10 he is a great actor.

Other voters shared their thoughts, I never enjoyed Justin Hartley while he played the role of Adam Newman on "The Young and the Restless," but I know other ppl who liked him. Once you have been spoiled with Michael Muhney in that role, well no one else can match up, so far. We will see how the next actor handles the role of Adam. As of now, we are not sure if Harley will return or not.

He is a really good actor in my opinion. He has popped up lots of  TV shows that I watch. I'm really loving him on This Is Us!

He's a good actor. Adam was a messed up character role for him to play, however.

Yes I know he is from Y&R or was. I didn't think he wasn't that great on Y&R but he is better on "This Is Us" show, He must have gotten a new training coach lol.. 

So I give him a 9 rating...

Would rather have MM as Adam Newman then anyone.

Let just say he is a better actor on the new TV series than he was on Y&R.
