Wonder Woman 1984 Delayed

Wonder Woman 1984 is officially delayed to later in 2020. After initially moving Wonder Woman 1984 to August, the studio then settled on an October release date, positioning Wonder Woman 1984 about a month after Tenet’s domestic debut. According to The Wall Street Journal, Wonder Woman 1984 has been delayed again. A new official release date is not set, but WB plans for Wonder Woman 1984 to come out later in 2020.

Wonder Woman 1984 is based on the DC Comics character Wonder Woman, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

It is a sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman and is the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

The film is directed by Patty Jenkins, who wrote it with Geoff Johns and David Callaham from a story written by Johns and Jenkins.
It stars Gal Gadot in the title role, with Chris PineKristen WiigPedro PascalConnie Nielsen, and Robin Wright in supporting roles.

Gadot will re-appear in the upcoming ‘Snyder Cut’ of Justice League coming exclusively to HBO Max, the new WarnerMedia digital streaming service which launched May 27, and is expected to debut in 2021.
