Obama out. President Barack Obama held his farewell party at the White House on Friday (Jan. 7) and it was the place to be for many stars, including Solange Knowles.
The star-studded guest list also reportedly included Sarah Jessica Parker, Marc Anthony and Oprah Winfrey. The Washington Post had earlier this week also named Oprah Winfrey, J.J. Abrams, Beyoncé and husband Jay Z.
Some of the guests posted photos from the bash, which the White House had said the president and the First Lady would pay for themselves. No pics of them were released publicly.''
Solange had the honor of performing at the star-studded party. “The sound check of life,” she wrote. “Was truly the ultimate, ultimate honor. Can’t even put into words. Really. We will miss your excellence, your grace, and the phenomenal legacy you have let us all share.”
