Production for the 6th and final season of Netflix hit House Of Cards is underway and has proceeded with a few interesting cast additions. The latest being Cody Fern, who has been given a position as a series regular.
The political drama’s production for season 6 was at first shut down in October in wake of the sexual assault and harassment allegations against star Kevin Spacey.
House Of Cards network Netflix ended all connections with Spacey, in doing so they have written his character out of the show and as well as this have ended a planned Gore Vidal biopic in which he was set to star.
There have been a few interesting additions to the new series, with the arrivals of Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear (who have been cast as siblings). The latest actor to be cast as a Series Regular is Australian actor Cody Fern, who is probably best known for his work on War Horse & The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
As for the other new additions, Diane lane is a 52 year-old American actress. You may recognize her from her recent role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice where she played Martha Kent. Throughout her great career she has also landed roles in: Unfaithful, The Outsiders, A Walk On The Moon and Under The Tuscan Sun.
