The Kingkiller Chronicle is set in a rich, fully ironed out would known as ‘The Four Corners’ or ‘Temerant’. The main character is called Kvothe. The story follows the life told by Kvothe, a life in which he proved to be one of the most feared people in the world, he encounters tragedy, loves women, created incredible songs and gets admitted to the University to study magic against all odds. He makes friends and creates enemies. The books are written in both first and third person.
These novels consist of ‘The Name Of The Wind’, ‘The Wise Man’s Fear‘ and ‘The Doors of Stone’ (upcoming). Rothfuss has also written a novella and a short story in the same world too, these are: ‘The Slow Regard Of Silent Things‘ (Novella) and ‘The Lightning Tree‘.
This is one of the fantasy series which has already been commissioned by Showtime and Lionsgate for both a TV show and two movies. Hamilton creator Lin Manuel Miranda will produce the TV show too! 4 .The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson
Fantasy lovers regard this series to contain some of the greatest world-building in the whole genre. Its beautifully written with exceptional characterization. If done right, this could make the perfect TV show.
Before he died, his brother directed Dalinar to an ancient tome called The Way of Kings, which leads Dalinar to start questioning thewarlike and competitive Alethkar way of life. He also begins to experience visions in which he sees the ancient Knights Radiant.

5 .Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien
Wait, hasn’t LOTR already been adapted into a trilogy, among the greatest moves ever? Yes they have, but news recently emerged that the fantasy could be re-adapted for television by Amazon and Warner Bros.
Warner Bros Television and Amazon Studios are in talks to produce a TV adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkinen’s ‘The Lord of the Rings’ novels. We’ve recently got reports from both Variety and Deadline that talks are currently in a very early stage with Amazon being the frontrunners to create the series. According to these reports both Netflix and Game of Thrones creators HBO were approached to produce the series, but Amazon seem by far the most likely.
The big question is, would the TV series be anywhere near as good as the sensational movies?
