Bigg Boss 16 will apparently air from October 2, 2022. Salman Khan’s controversial reality show will be filmed in Mumbai, and the creators are locking down the contestants. Reports emerged that Bengali actress and Lok Sabha member Nusrat Jahan was approached for the show. The stunner plans to be part of the season. Bigg Boss always tries to get celebrities from regional industries, as we saw with Shehnaaz Gill, Himanshi Khurana, Sapna Chaudhary, Monalisa, etc. Nusrat Jahan is a household name in Bengali films, and his life has also made headlines.
The actress is the mother of a young son, Yishaan. She is in a relationship with actor Yash Dasgupta, and their son was born last year. Nusrat Jahan and Yash are not yet married. In fact, there were rumors that Bengali star Jeet would do the OTT version of Bigg Boss but he immediately denied the gossip. Nusrat Jahan’s schedule is jam-packed with movies, commercial shoots, and other projects. We have to see how she manages to get dates for a three-month show. Nusrat Jahan also has a young child.
The other candidates whose names are circulating are Faisal Shaikh, Munawar Faruqui and Kanika Mann. It looks like these three gave the show a nod. Nusrat Jahan has had a long career in Bengali films. She made headlines when her marriage to Nikhil Jain, the owner of Rangoli sarees, fell apart. The actress said that they did not legally marry (formal registration), therefore there was no need for a divorce. Both sides accused each other. She had alleged that he had used her money, which he denied. Nikhil Jain had filed an annulment request in the Kolkata court.
