Prior to the release of his film Raksha Bandhan, Akshay Kumar visited artisans in Jaipur who create Rakhis. He received a royal welcome as the team were showered with flowers and cheers. The superstar appeared to be in his best of moods as he greeted the ladies showering them with flowers in return. In the shared video, it can be seen that the women who make rakhis tied one to Akshay Kumar. In fact, many artisans gathered to show the superstar the hard work they put in and tie a rakhi on her wrist. Overwhelmed by the gesture, Akshay Kumar shared the video and wrote, “Khamma Ghani Jaipur! It was a heartwarming experience to visit the artisans there and see them use their craft to convert the threads into ornamental Rakhis. Aapka Pyaar Apni Kalai by sajake lekar jaa raha hoon.” The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth and Deepika Khanna.
