Trailer – The Invisible Man

Once upon a time, Universal Pictures had a dream, and that dream was an entire cinematic universe (yep like the Marvel one) where they were able to use all of their classic monster Film rights and make a ton of money.

They lined up some big names for the first wave of films (including Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Javier Bardem, and Russell Crowe) and even shared a group photo to demonstrate their commitment to this plan.

Unfortunately, their commitment to the plan buckled quickly after Cruise’s The Mummy landed poorly and they abandoned the whole thing.

So now, Universal are now bringing forward a form of standalone reboot of The Invisible Man, with Elizabeth Moss seemingly in the lead ‘visible’ role, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen in the title role. The film is being directed by Leigh Whannell (who wrote the early part of the Saw franchise) and the trailer is here.
